I was so impressed!!! Best service in the world and what a well informed expert the owner is! It took him only a short time to bring me shoes he considered as right for me... and they were indeed perfect for me. The best running shoes of my life!! If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I found my place for buying jogging shoes: Ben (the owner?) really takes time to find the correct shoe for individual feet and for specific purposes (long or short distance / street or trail)I certainly will buy my next pair of shoes there again! Thanks a lot Ben for all the advice and service!

I was sent here by a good friend who'd told me he'd had nothing but excellent experiences at Runners Edge - and now I can say I've had one, too. I was impressed by the attention to detail of the member of staff on duty on the day, who took some time to analyse my running movement and suggest the appropriate shoes based on my running style. He was only too happy to show me how to properly adjust and lace my new shoes, too. The experience was far superior to any other I've had at any of the large sportswear and equipment stores - Runners Edge felt personalised to my needs. Although I'm from Johannesburg, I would happily return to Runners Edge to get new shoes in future when I'm in Stellenbosch.

I've recently bought my 5th pair of shoes from Bennie Stander (2nd pair at Runner's Edge after 3 pairs at Tyger Runner in the noughties). Always feels like the shoes are custom made for me.Thank you Bennie for always taking the utmost care and putting in all that effort to ensure that I get the best shoes that fit my needs. I visited Bennie to do a gait analysis and determine the type of running shoe that I should be shopping for. He was so thorough and particular with the results that he was looking for, we tried on about 8 different shoes untill he was pleased. He matched a pair of shoes to my unique foot form and movement so perfectly and comfortabily that I ended up buying a new pair of running shoes just there and then. Very pasionate and profesional sevice from Bennie and his experience in the sport is evident. When it's time for my wife for new running shoes, I'll definately be back.

We had an incredible experience with the salesperson, who explained to us that he has 55 years of experience in running and coaching!He assessed the way we run, where the pressure points are in our strides and was able to suggest the perfect type of shoe for each of us.I've never had such an in depth experience when making such an important purchase, it was very helpful.
