Dis-Chem Pharmacy TLC De Wiekus - Kempton Park

I visited the pharmacy today to collect my monthly script. I was assisted by a so called pharmacy assistant by the name of Tracey. The most unfriendly person behind the counter. She should actually make coffee and not serve clients. It took forever to find my details on the system. Dischem, you need send her on a course on how to treat clients. Lastly Tracey, your attitude stinks.

Dispensing staff are friendly and respectful. They do not have a high staff turnover which means you get to know your pharmasist.Good job Georege and Andre for such a dynamic team

I went to the store to buy some meds. Upon my return home and I noticed some cards missing in my wallet. I went back to the store to check if I did not leave them behind. Yvonne went out of her way to check for me, even went through video footage. I just want to say she is a star for me. Her service level was fantastic. Thank you Yvonne.

I enjoy being served at this pharmacy. The staff is very friendly and they always try to smile. I'm a repeat customer

It such a shame that this family friendly Pharmacy has turned into an unfriendly experience. Long queues and waiting times. Narrow aisles between shelves and always a lot of personnel blocking the aisles unpacking or taking stock. The people at the back are always helpful and friendly.

What an absolute joke!!!!! I'm so tired of the pathetic excuses and lack of accepting responsibility for their stuff ups!!!! I phoned an order in yesterday morning at 8.04am for chronic medication delivery, as well as baby formula to be delivered... by 14.00pm when nothing had been delivered yet and my baby formula was finished I tried phoning again to no avail, all lines were down....by 18.00 lastnight STILL NO DELIVERY.. so when my son got home he had to drive to Clicks to get baby formula. Phoned the pharmacy this morning at 8.30 .... still nothing scheduled for delivery in my name????? So where the hell did my order disappear too? Oh sorry I get told we were off line.....NOT MY PROBLEM... where is my order, where is any communication whatsoever from your side to let me know there was a problem... if I had not phoned in, to check on my chronic meds I would still be waiting for delivery and let's not forget my baby would be going hungry again today .... pathetic excuses, useless service and no accountability whatsoever.... I'm beyond disgusted with this excuse of a pharmacy... pull yourselves towards yourselves and deliver what you advertise or don't bother offering a you ring we being" service!!!!!!!!! Disgusting and appalling to say the least!!!! Will never use you again

It is always a joy to visit this Dischem phamrmacy. I alway find what I am looking for and their prices are mostly reseanable. I like the dact that there are some man care products I could not find in other stores, not that I sho everywhere for same. Over all I would give this place a 5 star it was not for room for improvement with everything in this world.

To whom this may concern:I need to start by saying that the staff at Dischem De Wiekus are always friendly and ready to help.I did however encounter a situation yesterday 05.10.2021 where I was not very happy.All Dischem pharmacies offer the following service at the pharmacy section:PrescriptionsSelf-medicationCollectionsI mail my prescription through for the reason that I do not have to wait in a long queue to be assisted.Yesterday however I found myself for the second time in the self-medication queue having to wait to be assisted.I decided that I will not wait, skipped the queue and went to the front of the queue, where I have asked a lady that passed me on her way behind the counter, to please assist.Long story short, the pharmacist at the self-medication desk asked me if there was a problem and I explained that I do not understand how the queues are working seeing that there is no one to assist.He then explained that he is the only one behind the counter and that the queue I need to stand in, is the self-medication queue.He asked I would like to be helped but then the people in the self-medication queue is going to be unhappy???If you as a pharmacy is going to offer the service of collections, you honestly cannot expect of your clients to wait in a long queue to be assisted due to being short staffed.Either scrap that of your service or change your queue to read “Self-medication AND collections”And if you do go for the above option, then at least myself and other clients will know to rather visit another Dischem.I may add that on my way out after paying, the lady that was in front of me in the self-medication queue was still waiting in the queue.
