As a drummer, when I think of a rehearsal studio, I think of poorly maintained cheap drum kits, missing hardware, and a generally poor experience trying to make do with what's around.This is not at all the case at Soundcast. Each room room has a well looked after, high end quality drum set.The staff are epic, helpful and friendly. Environment and facilities are top notch. COVID protocols and measures are upheld in an extremely professional and safe manner.12/10 rehearsal space!

This place is very-well liked and has many positive reviews. The interior decor is vibrant and creative, and the staff are friendly. However, my experience was a little different than lots of others'. I never leave negative reviews in general, but I feel I should share my experience for the sake of balance.I originally called asking about the price of rehearsing drums. I was told 250ZAR for 2 hours, but when I arrived, I was told it was 400 since I didn’t bring my own cymbals and snare, and would have to rent them at the cost of 150. This really bothered me. At worst, it’s a deceptive, hidden cost. At best, it’s disorganised of them, forgetting to tell me this aspect of pricing until I showed up.As well as that, the gear that I was given was poor. I’m not expecting luxury Drum Workshop gear, but the ride cymbal was so bad that I felt like I couldn’t use it in my playing, the bass drum pedal didn’t attach to the bass drum no matter how hard I tried, and the snare was the most lightweight snare I’ve ever used.On top of all this, there’s the costs of getting there — you can’t take public transport because the area near the railway is pretty dodgy. Admittedly, this isn’t the studio’s fault, but it’s another extra cost I had to pay in order to play on a bad drum kit. The whole thing just didn’t feel professional enough for me.

Honestly best rehearsal space in town. Great staff and all the rooms are great.I accidentally left my tuner in one of the rooms a week ago, but lone behold they found it and kept it for me.Thanks guys!

This is definitely Cape Towns best rehearsal studio. The team is made up of hard working professional and passionate people. Their facilities are great and they have a wide selection of guitar and bass amps to rent. They have well organized cables ready for a jam and are super helpful in setting up your room for your musical needs. They have also implemented a really top notch booking system.Will definitely come here again!!!

Fantastic place to have band practice. Spacious rooms, full mixer, amp, and monitor system. There's a bar where you can order snacks, drinks, or coffees, and I'm pretty sure I've seen people actually eating meals there as well. You might think it's in a dodgy area, but it's in an access-controlled industrial complex. Highly recommended.

Best rehearsal studio in CT. Gio and the team are always professional, responsive and it's a pleasure rehearsing at Soundcast. Been a regular visitor for years and will be for years to come.

Really great place that I've been using for band practices and for professional video studio shoots. Staff go out of their way to make you comfortable and have almost everything you could possibly need. The decor, lighting and general atmosphere create a beautiful vibe too!
