I ordered 4 servings of the Penne With Prawn and Tequila via the Uber Eats app. In the list of options I requested that the pasta be tagliatelle instead, and kindly requested that the serving of prawn be fair, not extra, fair. Upon receiving my order, which cost me R672 I found the boxes containing Penne, rather than the Tagliatelle, and the prawn meat, oh my word!!! They were almost non existent. After prodding the pasta, I found what was literally just a few shrimp size pieces of prawn meat thrown in. So I basically wasted R672 on tubs of Penne tossed in some tomato-based sauce that looks so amateur, and a few sprinkles of prawn bits for goodwill. I haven't yet tasted it, but there really isn't much to look forward to. What a huge disappointment Pomodoro. Epic fail!

No. The seafood pasta is seasonless, should be called calamari pasta if anything cause there were 2 under seasoned prawns in there with the calamari. The rate of 2 is for the fact that it www perfectly cooked pasta & not cold, otherwise if you’re craving a seafood pasta - this is not the one.

Great service from our waiter named Never . The rest of the staff and manager were pleasant always greeting you with a warm smile.The food was very well prepared, and seasoned. The food portions were almost perfect .Will recommend anyone to try the menu out.I'll most definitely be returning again.

Situated inside Morningside Shopping Centre. Family enjoyed all their dishes. Highly recommend the calamari dish. Service was okay although you will wait a good while for your meal.

I had a pizza and it was nothing to write home about. Lacked taste and if I didn't know what I ordered, I would have had no clue what I was eating, bland and lacked taste. The steaks were not great but the pork belly was good. I would not rush back in a hurry and would rather choose another place. Was not blown away.

Been twice and love it. Food is amazing and full of flavour. Be sure to try out their chilli. Waiters are mature and knowledgeable and actually care about their clients. Looking forward to my next visit.

I had a lovely lunch at Pomodoro. My food (fillet and rocket side salad with delightful complimentary focaccia) was delicious. Dumie’s friendly and efficient service made the dining experience even better. He makes a difference with a smile and a positive attitude. Even the manager and the owner stopped by my table to ensure I enjoyed my lunch. Thank you, Dumie and Pomodoro, you have a great team. I will be back soon!

Fine dining, Italian style restaurant with elegant decor. Tasty food with reasonable portions. Their fillet steak was so flavourful and tender and cooked to a perfect medium-well done as requested. It was so beautifully plated. The wait staff was accommodating and friendly, they paid attention to my preferences and ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The dim lighting and soothing background music created an upscale, relaxed atmosphere. A must-visit indeed! Lastly, their fries are to die for, crisp and light with very little oil. That was noteworthy for me

Restaurant is busy, so, do reserve your table. In winter better ask for a inside table, it's much better.Service is friendly and good...The menu is vast and difficult to choose from: too much good stuff.Portions are big and well served on hot dishes. Cooking time is in average 15 to 20 min... they really cook from scratch.The Pork Chops were unforgettable...A must visit Italian food restaurant.
