Went there for high tea.The food was old and stale. The little cakes where hard enough to break windows and crack floors if you dared to throw them and the food choices where severely limited compared to before (no sushi, waffles etc). Not worth the money.The only good thing to come out of this was the experience of leaving the restaurant.1. You need to get better tables without the side borders so your legs can better fit.2. Have more friendly and accommodating managers.3. Most importantly you need a revamp of your walls and not just your food.4. Run the restaurant like it was run before covid where everything was fresh and the buffet had things like sushi. Where as no it's limited everything is rubbish or old and the sandwiches are stale.

Booked 3 weeks in advance for a high tea reservation. We arrived and they didn't have our table or food ready. Waiter sounded either drunk or high, he had no idea which drinks to serve us. Management ignored us. Food was average, not worth the price. We waited one hour to be given one platter of finger foods. Worst experience I've ever had.

The food was great, however the service was absolutely pathetic. Waiter forgot to order my drinks, then lied about it.Been waiting for my dessert to arrive. 56 minutes and counting.Management , please wake up and do something about the quality of waiters you hire.

This was my 3rd visit.. It is an amazing restaurant. The food is super awesome , classy, tasty.Credit to the chef.. Prince was the guy that took care of all 3 times, he really goes all out the give the best service and experience, he'd never say no with out trying first to get what we asked for.. We really enjoyed our time..

Enjoyed the meal. Main dining area was a bit cold/clinical, but private dining area were moved to was much better. Our waitress had a heart of gold, but could have done with a bit better training for this type of establishment. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt am giving 5 stars despite niggles mentioned.

Fabulous meal and service today. Website menu differs from the menu in the restaurant. Chef came to see how she could help prepare what we were looking forward to ordering. Absolutely delicious meal, beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Only have praise for the chef, staff and overall experience. Hard to beat anywhere.

JUST BEEN REVAMPED. NEW NAME, NEW MANAGEMENT. BEAUTIFUL DECOR.JOB WELL DONE. HERE IS THE ISSUE. MOST OF AURELIAS OLD STAFF NO LONGER WORK HERE. UNTRAINED" STAFF WHO ARE NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE MENU. 5 THINGS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE MENU.CHANGE OF WAITRONS 3 TIMES AND THERE WERE ONLY ABOUT 15 PATRONS SO NOT BUSY. VERY PRICEY WHICH IS FINE IF I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR" SERVICE". WILL TRY IT ONE MORE TIME AND SEE. DEFINITELY WORTH THE AESTHETIC SIDE OF THE VISIT."

I was a guest at the hotel on 4 June 2022. I came downstairs for dinner early, so there was only two more clients.First impressions was that the dining room can be beautiful with a bit of updating.My waiter was not too welcoming, a little barky, but I suppose he gets the job done.The steak was cooked perfectly for my taste and the rice was good, as were the vegetables. I was very happy with the food quality and the prices.So , IF my waiter has been more welcoming and warm, I would have given Aurelia's 5*....

Terrible! Went there on Christmas eve for dinner. Only found out when we got there that they have a set menu of 5 plated meals for R600 per person (excl drinks). What a pathetic waste of money and time. Each dish was presented ok but tasted horrible. Service was so slow, the waiters don't even talk to you they jus come look at you and wait for you to order, walk away and put the food on the table and walk away. The tables feel like you sitting in a food court. Everything tasted old and stale like it was last nights left overs heated up and plated. The last course was coffee and assorted Christmas biscuits (Just 1 biscuit is assorted I guess). If you enjoy tiny portions of food that taste old then this is the place for you. What a scam.

Ordered the lamb with mash. Food was cold. Lamb was not cooked. Fiance ordered the 12 prawn meal. Only received 6 prawns. 5 off which were cooked, one completely raw. Both of us were sick for 2 days after eating there. The best part of the meal was the coke Zero I ordered.Ordered a dessert only to be told after ages that they didn't have it. In my opinion, stay away. Meals are expensive and disappointingThanks for a memorable anniversary Aurelia's!
