Highly recommend ABADA capoeira. My daughter absolutely loves the classes, I think largely due to Pedro’s energetic instructional approach. From the very first class she has been keen to actively participate, learn and even asks to practice at home (which has never happened with the multitude of previous sports she has tried). Week to week the class structure varies, focusing on different elements which keeps the kids engaged. Looking forward to continuing with ABADA into the future.

I really love this capoeira community! The instructor takes the time to guide each student whether new or advanced in the technique, fitness, music and culture involved in capoeira. The location on Francis St is convenient for parking and shopping too :)

I have been attending ABADA Capoeira at Jungle Five Dock since January 2023.I arrived at my introductory class and met the instructor, Pedro Garcia and I found him as welcoming in person as he was during my online enquiry.The Capoeirista's (practitioners) were as inviting as the atmosphere and displayed amazing skill and confidence at all levels. I was instantly hooked!Eight lessons in and Capoeira has had a major impact on my health, mobility and life in general. Not to mention exposure to a rich culture represented by a positive community consisting of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities.An amazing journey..

I've been enjoying this Capoeira by Pedro since I've found and started as one of my challenges recent finally. This martial art is with music, I think all five senses are used and even the sixth one so it's nice also for mentally too not just for physical workouts. The community and classes atmosphere are always very welcoming, supportive, harmonized good energy and fun of course, for kids to adults and all genders. Thanks always to Pedro and the team.

I have 2 kids that have been going to the 3-6yo and 7-12yo classes for about 1 yr now. Great way for the kids to start the weekend with some fun exercise and learning something new. A great, friendly and welcoming environment.

I highly recommend Pedro of ABADA-Capoeira Sydney, and tell anyone who will listen the same! I came across Pedro's classes on Facebook once when looking for activities for my 5 and 7 year old boys and we haven't looked back since! From his patience for all my questions to how fun and engaging his classes are, my boys just love Pedro! His classes are so wonderfully balanced too, from music to story telling of historical significance to martial arts and exposure to a different language as well! Every class is so vibrant and he keeps my boys learning constantly in a fun and safe environment!! We look forward to going every single week! Honestly, if I could have selected more stars I would have! This really is a 5 star plus review!!!
