Great camping spot in the Garden Route with amazing hiking spots. Top class.

Amazing experience!What an amazing 3 night breakaway. Spectacular scenery, a beautiful dam to swim in or fish, and lots of outdoor things to do in the surrounding areas. Ablution were well taken care of. If you want to be close to nature, this is a great spot for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We will be back soon!

Beautiful view and amazing walking trails only warning is when you visit in winter make sure you have alot of warm things to keep you toasty it can get cold in winter other wise amazing place

Great place for a weekend away, friendly owners and great ablution facilities.The camp site is very neat and tidy. All sites have an electrical power point which is fantastic at the great price they offer.Firewood can be purchased on request.For the nature lovers, we even managed to get a great sighting of a Caracal.Looking forward to our return visit.

Excellent. Very tranquil with lovely clean bathrooms

Now this little piece of paradise was one big surprise.The ablution block was definitely a highlight there. Modern, clean and fresh looking showers, kitchen area and loo's. Very very well designed. We were welcomed by Marius when we arrived and from the first second we knew we will have a perfect weekend. We caught and released 2 Bass (and 2 Platanas). The campsites have lots of shade and the grass is super soft.From day one we saw a big variety of animals like birds (Big Ear Owls, Knysna Loerie, Bos Loerie, Hadidas that was very quiet), fish of various species, crabs and lots of other animals. And all of this was seen from the camp site. There is a walking trail that will give you even more chances to see more animals.With only 9 camping spots you beter book as soon as possible!

We had the most wonderful stay at Molenrivier. Jerry and Marius have been very friendly and helpful, dealing with all issues we had during our stay. The campsite is not far away from the next city, but gives you a feeling of being far away from civilization. You can hear many different birds in the morning, while enjoying your beautiful lookout in the nature or your own little fire (wood available). Ablutions are very clean and nicely build (for 9 campsites there are 4 toilets and 4 showers, so you never have to wait). We’d definitely recommend staying at this wonderful campsite!
