Great clean and very spacious rooms with excellent service. There's a table tennis and pool table in the conference room and the restaurant makes great food

One of the best places in SA which I’ve stayed at that allows small dogs. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and clean bathrooms. A few things which could be improved on include the front gate which gave problems and poor Wi-Fi signal for the TV to connect to Netflix in the distant rooms (room 11). But in conclusion, a really pleasant environment and stay! Good job :)

Black mould in the bathrooms, I had to be moved to an upstairs room, which had more air flow, in spite of the same mould. I confirmed a booking extension for the weekend, but on the Saturday and Sunday, there was no one at the guest house to let me in. The owner turned her phone off and I was left stranded on Saturday trying to find a very late booking. I returned on the Sunday to check in at 14:00, and again, no one answered the gate, and the owners phone was turned off. Again, leaving me to try to find another booking. The rate agreed was for a long term stay, but due to the guest house being locked out, I had to find alternative more suitable accommodation. The owner then Invoiced me a higher rate, claiming I hadn’t stayed on for the 3 weeks!!!! Shocking.

Friendly and helpful staff. Neat homely place especially the cottage. Nice pool view from the cottage. Well kept facilities (i.e., pools, boma, yard). If I were residing around the area, I'd consider it for conference activities too.

Great place, Good value for money.

Clean and friendly...excellent sized rooms. Took getting used to the really hard firm mattress but slept well. Wake up calls are early due to guest coming and going. It's nice to have clean sheets and towels but water measures are in therefore towels should not be changed everyday but every 3rd day.Very good restaurant well priced and good food. However breakfast not included in the room, pity..

Everything is pay more! Already accommodation price is high without breakfast, no aircon, climb yourself silly up stairs, pay R100 to use the braai, bad parking, 60c for packet of sugar, R15 for cup of coffee etc... Beautiful set up but if you want to cater for the upmarket big spending people, state it then and good luck.

If you visit PE, I would recommend to anyone to stay in at Onse Khaya. With the fairytale view when you step outside the rooms to the friendly staff (be sure to meet the owners, lovely people) not to mention the great food they serve.

Lovely atmosphere, the manager phoned while traveling back late from work. Ensuring that I received a meal. Accommodating staff. Will definitely be back. The meals were superb

I loved our stay here!! The host was so friendly and very helpful. Loved meeting everybody and by the time we left felt as if we had known them for a lifetime!! Chance makes the best food in his restaurant and the room are immaculate and stunning!! A definite must ☺️
