It is a nice place that needs upgrading. With the drought at the time, the fields were basically in bad shape. Without having been there since, all I know from driving past, is that things are improving. What I am glad about is that the youth are being occupied with one of their favorite sports, incidentally the sports with the biggest following in this country, South Africa. The field has symbolism, in the sense that the youth can put their adverse situation on the back seat, albeit temporarily.

The parking is a not great as you will be parking in the sand. There is nothing covering you from the rain as well. Bring chairs when you come to the field and there is a tuck shop open during games.

My boys practice there. The state of this field is horrendous and the elements that freely have access. We need more law enforcement for the safety of kids.
