Edenbrook Country Manor

Spent to nights while touring SA. The owner Nick had only recently taken ownership and was in the process of getting the place updated. As a result not all was up to scratch but with this in mind I still rated it a 5 star. Breakfast was good and staff attentive. This place once fully up and running will be exceptional bust “Rome was not built in a day”.

My wife & I needed to get away to somewhere quiet for a couple of days. Edenbrook Manor was just the place!!! Spent 4 restful nights here. Kudos to owner Nick & friendly staff for the absolute perfect spot and base to explore the surrounding areas. If you love the feel of nature and its sounds, Edenbrook is a definite! With Nick & staff, Edenbrook Manor from the comfortable accommodation, the grounds and the absolute fantastic energy fulfilling breakfast every morning - a well deserved five stars!!!We were in the executive suite. That king size bed!! I don't think I've slept that well in ages! Perfect, as for the rest of the room!

Fantastic venue. Natural environment stunning. Excellent breakfast and top class staff. Well worth the six hour journey to get there. Will absolutely recommend this to everyone.

We stayed with the whole family, 10 of us, for 5 days at Edenbrook. What a marvelous time we had. The rooms were superb! Nick was an excellent host! Very accommodating and no request was too difficult for him to adhere to! The breakfast prepared by him was excellent. I strongly recommend Edenbrook for a marvelous stay.

We booked a couple of months ago for a big group of cyclists;what an awesome venue, clean, neat and beautiful. Thank you Nick for accommodating us and for jumping at each request or question. So we booked the standard room with a double bed in the wooden house (as seen in the pictures). It is so comfortable in the rooms as they are air-conditioned and well stocked with snacks such as coffee, tea and a mini fridge. There is even a pool overlooking a beautiful view of the woods. The owner Nick was very welcoming and went out of his way to organize us an early breakfast as we needed to leave early morning. The breakfast was super filling. Would definitely recommend! There are a lot of attractions close to the accommodation which makes it the ideal place to stay id you want to go to Knysna or Plettenberg bay. Attractions such as the Wolf sanctuary, the Waterpark, a craft center and much more.

Well situated. Clean, neat. Family cottage in the forest.

Friendly service. Great breakfast.Beautiful setting. Great value for money.
