We have had the good fortune to have employed Rupert as private architect for renovations to ourheritage home in Muizenberg village, Cape Town.Rupert kept the overview clearly in sight while remaining flexible throughout our many vacillations overour decision-making.His finely honed insight and ability to conceive space and context as a whole, resulted in the bestpossible use of space and a great marriage of new and existing old design.His technical skill with Archi-cad enabled us countless virtual 3D tours of different design possibilities.He solved our difficulties with planning permission with both the heritage and city councils, though hisconnectedness and experience with these entities.He maintained great clarity of and commitment to both the overall picture and all the details stemmingtherefrom.Rupert was an absolute pleasure and inspiration to work with.
