Quaint restaurant situated on the Treur river along the Panaroma route. Ideal for a scrumptious lunch after a day of touring. Peaceful and rustic vibe plus a delicious menu makes this a definite must visit.

Would definitely recommend grabbing a bite to eat at the chubby pig.The food is absolutely delicious & the drinks are refreshing.The river runs next to the seating area which is absolutely beautiful, there is a gift shop aswell that you can support .

Stopped here on a roadtrip and was pleasantly surprised with the look, atmosphere and serviceNext time will test the menu as we only enjoyed drinks.

My girlfriend suggested we stop off here, and I must admit I was very sceptical driving in on the dirt road. I think this little restaurant may well have been the highlight of my weekend. The setting on the river is stunning. The rustic feel is fantastic. The food was really good too.One small commentary I could make however, is that the music coming from the cellphone wasn't contributing positively to the ambiance.

A very quaint restaurant located on the Treur River upstream from the Bourke Luck Potholes.A truly magical setting, well decorated, with a stunning Rustic style wooden deck amongst the trees which overlooks the river.We popped in for coffee and breakfast.There was one other table of 2 people.We waited about 15 minutes for coffee to arrive and when ordering breakfast I had to change my order twice due to not having stock of some items. So hopefully 3rd choice Lucky?We then opted for bacon and banana toasted sandwiches.Which took another 20 minutes to arrive after ordering.Sandwich arrived with what looked like 1 piece of bacon split between 2 sandwiches. Which was a disappointment (pictures attached) would have rather been told they didn't have bacon? And swapped it for biltong or something else...This might have been a once off slow service and low stock on items, but can't confirm that.5 /5 for venue/facilities1/5 for breakfast

This place was recommended to us on a recent visit. But sadly, I can't say that I will reccommend it to others even though they enjoy a very pleasant setting.Naturally, hence their name, we decided on having pork dishes. Although the recipes are tasty, our pork chops were largely inedible; had to cut away half of it which was sinew.They didn't/couldn't really heed my call to consider other meat suppliers either, because apparently it is the farm's own pigs.And perhaps a future tip to management: Offering a complimentary drink is not adequate when you should actually not charge for the dish which is not up to scratch.
