Badplaas A Forever Resort

Very noisy campers. If you like peace and quiet then this is not your spot if you have children however then they will enjoy it. The camping stands is also way too close together. If I would return I will rather opt for the chalets.

I am an old and regular visitor. The staff are generally on the ball and friendly and the amenities are spick and span clean.

We come to Badplaas on family holidays every other year.I'm concerned of the decline in maintanance of the chalets. We have stayed in the same chalet previously and can see it deteriorating.The cupboard doors are loose, the 4 plate stove only has 2 plates working. The other 2 trips the mains. Our toilet blocked on day one (hardly used it, but can happen to anyone. Staff responded quickly)Dishrack doesnt have a driptray, therefore the water from dishes drips down the cupboard. They also neglected to provide us with a discloth to dry the dishes with. (they brought one as soon as i asked)1 Week before our visit, we received a message that the main warm warm pool will be under construction. We feel that these things are not impulsive maintanance, but planned and should be given through weeks or months ahead to avoid dissapointment. It is only fair to be given the chance to move the accommodation around such maintanance other than getting a surprise once you are already on the way,flights have been booked etc.We love Badplaas and the staff are very friendly. We would just enjoy if the correspondance would be better and the chalets would be in order. It seems like small complaints, but is very frustrating to arrive after a long trip and things are not as they should be. Forever Resorts are not cheap comparing to competing Resorts. Therfore, one expects the facilities to be available and in order upon arrival.

Beautiful stay, warm pool is a winner after a long run. Friendly staff and security personnel. Will come back next year for the 3rd year for our Teams long runs

Love the resort. Beautiful gardens and pools. Lots to do.

Lovely weather friendly people and staff nice music

Badplaas is certainly not what I remembered it to be. As a kid, it was one of the best resorts to visit over weekends or even just for the day because of its atmosphere. Now it's just boring. Not sure if this is just a post covid issue but there's barely anything to do. The restaurant, bar, and entertainment room are closed and Spar has been replaced with a mediocre mini supermarket. The horses have fleas on them and the game drive just isn't worth it. For what it's worth, the place is overall well-maintained, and the staff is super helpful and friendly!

Great adventures on quad bikes, super cool guide. Horse riding was amazing and oh the wildlife so close up. The 4 x 4 trail was an adventure on its own, had a blast climbing those hills with our SUV. As always badplaas never fails to have a great weekend away.
