Magalies Mountain Lodge & Spa

This is an excellent spa resort. Most welcoming staff, they will make your stay unforgettable. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well decorated.The spa treatments were relaxing, with very professional therapists. Relax in the pool, jacuzzi and beautiful garden. The restaurant serves delicious meals, you won't go hungry!This was our 3rd visit and we will definitely return very soon.

Relaxing views set against the mountains, professional therapists & attentive receptionist. Massage was de-stressing with hands that worked out the tension knots, breakfast,dinner & lunch is of a 5 star hotel quality...scrumptious food & malva pudding to die for.. enjoyed the fireplace at dinner and relaxed with coffee afterwards while browsing through the small library. Hotel beds & pillows are clean & comfortable. They have a swimming pool, hot tubs, relaxation garden, snooker & chess and a hiking trail on their premises. All staff was most accommodating and friendly despite loadshedding. Definitely a place to celebrate any special occasion or just treat yourself. Will definitely visit again. Thank you to everyone

We loved our stay at magalies mountain lodge.The spa was amazing and the restaurant and food was a 5 star experience. We did the short hike which was also great and just a quick activity for people who want to do something different.The jacuzzi was under construction but they did compensate for this by offering another spa treatment.The only part thay wasn't excellent was the room. There were some issues with power outages but in this country it happens. The problem we had was that our room (room 10) was next to the reception and a room we thought was the stock room. It was quite noisy and ruined the serene mood of the whole place. I would not pick this room again.The other big thing about the room is that there was no fridge in the room. We knew this because another review mentioned it but it really is inconvenient especially if you are staying two nights or longer. I honestly think that the addition of a small fridge would make the rooms much better.I would definitely recommend this place. Just expect the room to be the worst part.

I was searching for a spa to take my pregnant wife and came across this place. We went there and had the most splendid time. The tranquil location really created the best relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted by the most pleasant staff. The food was absolutely delicious and the one thing that I can definitely commend was the massages. We had breaks between each massage which gave us some time to walk around and get some refreshments. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful staff.good food. Comfy beds....and stunning spa treatments.....

The only great thing about this place was the view. The aircon was set so we couldnt adjust the heat, the water was lukewarm and came out as a trickle so we could barely wash. But the view was amazing and the restaurant's food was great.

Enjoyed my spa day at Magalies, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the massages were thoroughly relaxing(special mention to the scrubs used in the treatments, smelt divine). The facility looked good, great views

I visited the place just for a day and it served the purpose. I started with the solo hike (very peaceful and great scenery) then had lunch on the picnic bench with gazebos (Some peace and tranquillity) and ended up on a picnic blanket on a nice garden behind the Spa area where I could softly hear relaxing massage sounds from the window and that was just a bonus. It’s quiet and peaceful, the staff is friendly, other guests are mindful of others around them. I’m definitely coming back for more of what they have to offer.

It was worth every cent. Really enjoyed it. Very friendly staff and the ladies were so good with all the different massages. You will see us again soon!

The place is picture perfect .... Was exactly what me and the girls needed. A little getaway for some piece and quite. The hiking trail was a walk in the park... Got to see a lot of weird growing trees. The staff was super friendly... Compliments and a big thank you to our waiter Tongai"."
