The Bend Park

As an adult I find it very nice to go here and unwind a bit. Forget that anyone is judging you and behave like a child. I made use of every single thing in this park accept the see-saw because that can not be used when you are alone. When you want to have a quiet time away from the city buzz this is where you want to go. This is a safe neighbourhood and I would definitely allow my children to go out and play here even till 9 O'clock at night.

Exercise park and wheelchair friendly swings available. Good for kids and adults. Lots of benches in the shade to sit while you watch your kids play.

This park is improving. Wheelchair friendly swings were added recently and now more wheelchair playground equipment has been added. More playground equipment will be welcome, like jungle gyms and such. Overall it looks nice, clean and safe. It is mostly a very quiet park. Looks like the majority of people who walk their dogs there don't leave the dog poo lying around. This is good news for kiddies who like to run all over the park. The adult workout equipment is never crowded.2017/04 It is unfortunate that I have to downgrade my review. This is due to the fact that it looks like the wheelchair friendly rides that was added recently looks unusable. It seems that the crossbars that's supposed to keep the wheelchairs safely locked on the newly added see-saw and 'merry-go-round' was manufactured just to short and they are now stuck in place. I could not get them to budge even a millimeter. So you won't be able to lift them to let the wheelchair enter the ride. It also seems that the sharp and unprotected edges of the see-saw is a great risk for little fingers of kiddies playing around there. Take a close look at the photo of the edge of the blue see-saw. I didn't get to the wheelchair friendly swing, so can't comment on that.

Exercise equipment has been upgraded and a new walking track laid down.

A hidden gem. Some of the equipment needs fixing but nice and quite. It is an enjoyable space.

Lovely walking track, get your exercise in along with fellow neighbours. Outdoor gym for the super enthusiastic.

The Bend Park is a lovely place to take your little ones for a picnic lunch. There is an outdoor gym for mum and dad and park play for the children; slides, swings,etc. Also a few fun swings and see saw for the disabled.

Beautiful, cared for park. Lovely and peaceful. Kids have fun, while you relax on your blanket!

Nice big park in fairly good shape (cept for the grass which has suffered from lack of water during the drought).The park has fitness equipment as well the usual equipment like see saw, swings and slide. No jungle gym. They also have some wheel chair friendly equipment but some of it needs to be maintained a little better though. The wheel chair friendly see-saw has sharp dangerous edges underneath and the merry go round won't move

A lovely disability friendly park, with wheelchair accessible swings and a merry-go-round.Also there are fitness equipment. Definitely a park for everyone.We found this interesting rock there as well
