We LOVED our stay. Betsie is THE BEST host ever, she was welcoming and friendly. We had a great room with a sea view and all we needed. It was such a blessing to hear the waves through the night.I am actually flabbergasted that people gave this place bad reviews!!!!! Thank goodness we did not mind them. We will be back and BACK. Thanks again Betsie, you rock!!!!

I guess everyone has the freedom of speech and hence their opinion and or review. My wife and i visited Cape Agulhas Guest House this weekend and it surpassed our expectations. It is a budget friendly establishment thus please do not expect 5-star luxury and/or service. If you want 5-star then please pay for 5-star. Really worthwhile and highly recommended

Betsie was very welcoming and hospitable. She provided us with some suggestions to eat at and to go while there for the weekend. The guesthouse is suitable for a couples getaway and is in walking distance to the beach and sights to see as well as eateries. All though it is a bit dated, it has a homey feel and has a generator so you won’t even miss not having electricity. The room was clean and comfortable. Thanks so much for accommodating us. Highly recommended.

We booked a sea view with balcony, arrived, and was taken to a room - with a view of nothing over the kitchen- smell of burnt toast in the air, and dirty, with long black hair in the tiny double bed. This place shouldn’t even be a truck stop. We were promised a refund by Betsie +27 79 036 0156 over the last few weeks- then this morning told that Head office decided not to refund. This establishment is a scam, and a bunch of liars. Terrible. HYPERLI advertised this getaway- and should vet their perspective clients first.

We had a wonderful stay. Tannie Betsie was the sweetest and kindest host. Everything was also very clean and neat. We needed a break from city life and that is exactly what we got. Highly recommend this guest house.
