The overall experience is ok. I find some departments have helpful staff and other departments either have no staff or unwilling staff. The announcements over the speakers are very loud and become very repetitive. It is unpleasant as one is trying to concertrate or communicate and can't do so. The system was offline, however, the cashiers were very transparent about it and handled the situation well.

Although they have a great selection of products across all hardware and DIY products the staff isn't adequately trained in product knowledge and customer service.I personally had a problem with getting assistance with a faulty product purchased at the store and the staff had no clue how to resolve the problem.The managers are not visible or readily accessible..An all round disappointing customer experience

Service is not excellent but reasonable. It varies between departments. Service in the paint section is very good.Lots of items in the building section don't have prices. You have to stand in a long line just to get a price on an item.Check out points: cashier's are friendly and the line moves quickly.

My favourite builders! Staff always friendly & helpful. They can improve on managing cashier lunch breaks buy staggering them, lately the wait can be disappointing

They offer pretty much anything DIY you can think of. Don't expect any service. It's not called DIY for no reason. The parking is horrible. I only go there in extreme circumstances.

Needs to pay attention to entrance, too many folk trying to get work which one understands but raises safety concerns. Maybe create a marketplace ( virtual or physical) for those trying to make a living. An app where past users can rate service might be a good idea

Don’t waste your time! Incompetent, unhelpful staff. Always make you feel like you’re doing them a favour. I am still waiting for over 25 minutes in the queue at the sales counter and after calling for help, asking other staff members who just ignore your questions. There is still no one around, and zero urgency or will to do their jobs. No one at that store deserves to have a job, because they are all pathetic. This is the 3rd time I’ve come here in 3 and a half weeks and each time is an absolute nightmare trying to get anything done. I highly recommend using the Paint Emporium in Broadacres for all future hardware needs. Avoid this dump at all costs.

Great store, friendly stuff.The checkout can be slow at times, but hey - there's a Vida inside the store so you can get a coffee while you wait :-D[The key cutting services are great and the staff members are very friendly but sometimes they're busy so try to time it properly with your other shopping]

I received 5-star service today from the most wonderful man named John in the lighting department. He was immediately able to help me with what I needed, knew exactly what I was talking about and even suggested an extra item which I would need (I would have had to come back to get it had he not informed me). You don't get good service like this often these days. Well done John, and well done Builders (employee of the month I would say!!
