Thangami mineral spa and game reserve

I would not reccommend this place to anyone. Staff are rude and not welcoming, they gave the unit I paid for to another family that paid 6 days after me. They did not tell me this and instead pushed us into a horribly maintained unit. It was filthy, bedding was not clean, neither were the floors and the geyser did not work, all this was not rectified when complained about at reception. Staff gave us attitude insisting that the bedding was stained and that they have cleaned. Disgusting service. There was blood on the bedding and oily residue on the sheets and pillow cases, we were told that the blood stains were nail polish stains.

Lovely place, with natural hot water coming out of the earth, with four different heat level pools. The natural hot water is a natural detox, and the vibe is relaxing. Forget about your phone, because you won't get any reception. You can view some game, or go to the mud pool, enjoy a jacuzzi or do clay pigeon shooting. We got engaged here and it was so so awesome and romantic. Staff are always friendly and in a good mood! Reasonly priced, and super relaxing.

If you want a peaceful night sleep go somewhere else. I was there one night and people were partying in the pool area with one hell of a noise till 3 in the morning, bottels of alcohol everywhere. Even in the pool. Apart from that the visit was very enjoyable. Food was fantastic and the service was friendly.

Dont ever try going here I had the worst experience on holiday ever. Rooms and bookings were not correct in the end I had to pay extra for my 1 night stay. The roofs leaked in the rain and none of the toilets or showers worked. Staff are rude,useless and thieves. Dont pay money for this fail of a place

I would like to thank the Staff for you awesome service this weekend. It was raining and we were camping. The was a storm and they accommodated us in the back packers for no extra costs. We had an awesome weekend although it was raining. They did our dry cleaning at the lowest price ever. I want to thank you for a awesome stay. Hessell family.

Beautiful view. Service was okay. Water is lovely. Just had load music from other residents until 3 o'clock in the morning. Other than that, really enjoyed it.

I really love this place. I had heard that things had gone downhill here, but I was very impressed! Everything was clean, the service was good some maintenance had clearly been done. The warm baths a great, the mud hole is glorious and it was just a very relaxing time. We had the fortune that there were very few guests...I guess when it gets full it can be less relaxing...but we loved it! Will be back soon...

Really beautiful hidden jem. The main attraction is the mineral baths and these are kept in a very good condition. For a little bit more exciting dip, I recommend asking reception about the mud pools. There's nothing quite like it.

When you need a quiet place to be and yet enjoy your syay with, swimming pool, a bar for refreshments, some tours inside and get a clims of seeing wild but not dangerous animals. This is a place to be. You can sleep over, cater yourself or be served their own meal. Do visit for your own experience.
