Worst agency ever. This agency only cares about money and not clients. They will have an excuse for everything and blame you, the client, when anything goes wrong. As an owner, you pay them a fee to manage the property but you will end up spending more time following up to get results as they do not give you feedback of their own accord. I ended up having to manage the tenant and property myself. They still deducted their monthly fee though. Absolutely rude, money-grubbing bunch of useless agents. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Please do yourself a favour and hire an agency who will actually manage your property, not one that gets paid while you do the work. I could give many more examples of unprofessional behavior, but honestly just glad to be rid of them for good.

They have been nothing but amazing! We moved from kzn and were in desperate need for a house to rent, thankfully a wonderful agent named Alyscia came to our rescue, we viewed a place with her and explained how we needed to move in that same day as we had no where else to go and we had our boerboel with us so it was an absolute nightmare! Thankfully Alycia came through for us fast and efficiently and we moved in that same day upon viewing the property.We are so thankful for the care and compassion towards us. They have exceeded beyond their expectations, making sure renovations are being taken place to secure our safety. They truly are not just agents they are compassionate people who truly care for their customers. I would recommend them any year, month or day! use at your own risk , 20 days to get a deposit refund , no follow up from agent or agency, always an excuse and absolutely pathetic serviceSimilarly , 2 months to get a signed update on rental contract , when needed for FICA , also excuses but in the end no one follows anything up

Worst experience ever !!! Applied for a rental unit 20 February 2019 was approved everything struggled to get an contract out of Alta for 5 days , Eventually completed it and send it back to them, Was approved and informed that i have to pay Deposit, i arranged with Alta i can only pay the 06 March 2019 as i am waiting for money to pay out , i then asked if i can at-least Pay my admin fee were she replied yes that will be 100% , i paid my admin fee with in minutes and gave notice at my current address, , so i have and holding deposit or so i thought apparently not , today when i wanted to pay the deposit (a day in advance ) i got a no sorry we have already rented the place out. So now i am sitting with out a place to stay and no foot to stand on as per Alta. Just a friendly warning, at this place you're not guaranteed of a house E

So I rented a 3 bedroom apartment, when I moved in they haven't cleaned the apartment (place was a mess)Now they want me to pay a cleaning fee.I don't believe this is a good agent.They don't want to pay my deposit R15kI'm taking legal action

Thys and his staff are the most unprofessional people I've ever had the discomfort of dealing with. For 2 years straight I paid my rent on time, every month for the full amount. Until it comes time to move out and you find Thys himself, entering your property without your permission or being present, instructing your domestic worker to put your clothes into black bags and refusing to pay the full amount of my deposit.When Thys brought people around to view my unit, he didn't even know whether water was included. Not to mention that I was offered to purchase the property with a promise that they weren't selling it, the just wanted to give me the option- followed by a call 2 weeks later telling me that they are indeed selling the property and that I need to move out, fortunately I was planning to leave regardless.So after basically forcing me out of the property, Thys starts bringing RENTAL tenants to the property? What happened to selling the unit? Are you just going to do the same thing to them?I made the mistake of ignoring the reviews of this business when I rented my property, the numbers and 3 star average don't lie, avoid these crooks.

Avoid these agents at all costs. They will pin everything on you and fail to apply any kind of pressure on the owner to assist. Place flooded numerous occasions, maintenance work never completed in a whole year, forces you to change electricity providers at your expense. Rude agents who never respond adequately on emails, and then try to blame you at the last minute. They force a mandatory charge R750 against your deposit to clean an already clean place when exiting because it's not up to their standard". AVOID AVOID AVOID"
