At the beginning of January this year I had saved up enough money to purchase a long awaited dining room table for myself.I had searched for a few places on line however nothing I saw really grabbed my attention. I knew exactly what I wanted in my minds eye, I had a picture but nobody was offering that.So I had a few days off work and decided to hop in my car and take a drive down the main road in observatory and Woodstock in the hopes to try and even come close. Yet my efforts were in vain.I did a u turn and was heading back when I noticed a Large prominent sign “ Aura Interiors “ which caught my eye immediately.On entering I was greeted by 2 very friendly ladies which offered assistance ...After walking around I saw the wood I wanted my table made in but not the table.Then Uzair which I thought was a salesman came over to me and asked what I was looking for...I explained in detail and after several trips to and fro from Plumstead to Aura Interiors and incredible follow up from Lee Anne who assisted Uzair in manufacturing EXACTLY what I wanted, I now have the most beautiful Ashwood dining room table which has become extremely handy with me catching up on projects during the Lockdown period.I was more than happy with Uzair and his staff with the entire experience from the time I walked into the lovely aromatic smelling store to the careful delivery of my perfectly manufactured dining room table and bench.This is the store to go to if you would like any item of furniture made up!It’s like dealing with familyVery satisfied customerBrent Oliver

So disappointed with this couch that was supposed to be real leather. I don't even have it for 5 years! Terrible quality, then the store says there's no guarantee on the fabric. Why pay so much for something so extravagant but looks like this only after a few years.

The furniture is really beautiful and well made, and the staff seemed very knowledgeable. However, we were disappointed to discover that the couch we were delivered was the same one from the showroom - defects and all. We even had confirmed beforehand if the furniture we receive is the one on the floor or from the stock and the saleswoman was adamant that it would be from stock (we had seen another couch on the floor was labeled ‘reserved’ that day and weren’t keen on a showroom couch that already had wear and tear). In the end, Aura swapped the couch for one of another colour, free of charge.

Large showroom floor with parking right outside door, two lovely ladies helped us with our search for a stool and even remember my email query. Option for delivery or collection from showroom after the warehouse has delivered. Some products imported and some local made products.

Fantastic service and table delivered even before the time it was promised. Uzair helped with ideas upon the first visit to the shop and later he was very patient with providing tailor made quote and answering all questions, and her colleague Doelyn gave great design solutions.

Very disappointed with the high-priced console I bought from Aura Interiors that was sold as an exclusive designer piece from George, but is flawed, badly and cheaply made. A furniture-maker I consulted, pointed out even more issues than I had identified and priced the materials - his feedback was worse than I had imagined. I was utterly ripped-off.Aura suggested I pay R3200 (15% handling fee, plus delivery & collection fees) for them to take it back and then have a store credit of R12K. However, I do not ever want to return to a business that sold me an item at almost 3x what it is worth and puts up a home-made sign saying 'no refunds, no exchanges', as if that excuses everything.
