Kosi Bay Beach Camp
Exlent place off grid, quiet and clean, well looked after...If you need a good time from home, this is the place to be,not much off network reception or electricity that makes it even better to get silence

Very rustic, very few level stands, bush plumbing, but amazing beach and we were lucky enough to see baby sea turtles digging themselves out of the sand and moving to the ocean.

Markings on the road are very few and far between. Just follow written instructions to the T. Very rustic.

If you are looking for a place to be in nature, you wont go wrong, its basic, so take your own water and braai. There is hot water for a shower and toilets. The people who live there are friendly and happy to show you the best fishing spots, ask for Ferry at the little shop, they will let him know and he will find you. The monkeys are mischievous and will get into anything you leave out, so pack away all edibles. We had a nosy drone the week we were there that ruined the atmosphere but that had nothing to do with the camp, just inconsiderate neighbors. The one pet hate I have is when you are allocated a camping spot and get there to find it occupied, so they will have to work on their allocations or change the system to be first come - first pick. The beaches (closest one is 1.2km away not 350m as advertised) are the best, with warm, clear water, you wont be sorry, just go.

I had the greatest time in this special place. Looking forward to going back there over and over. To the friends I made we will definitely be together again. Best""

The camp itself seems to need a bit of work. There is no clean water at all for dishes or showering. The camp grounds seem to have lacked maintenance and the chalets around us seem to be falling apart. The scenery makes up for it a bit. You can hear the hippos at night. The beach is close and if you enjoy 4x4, there are multiple fun places to drive.

Omg, we drove from Pretoria for over 7 hours and 45 minutes before we arrived, we got stuck in the sand and it was well past nightfall! We were in the middle of nowhere and no internet coverage at all. Do not attempt to go there without a 4x4!
