To say im underwhelmed would be an understatement - there is no lighting outside in the evenings and the place generally looks way different from the pics peovided on the website. Most importantly, i had someone from the establishment help themselves tomy carefully sealed food. Is this part of the “communal” feature of the backpackers? Highly annoying

A rustic dwelling at the foot of the waters edge. 2 dorm rooms for bigger groups (adjoining which is convenient if 2 groups are together), a little wooden standalone cottage (for a romantic and private stay), and 2 rooms that are part of the main communal structure (one double room and one with 4 single beds - great for a family). Licensed bar and a beautiful garden that is kitten up in the evenings with a bonfire. Lovely for kids and for a beach stay on the South Coast. Also great to book out for a celebration if there is a large group.

We spent one very special night at this wonderful location. A stones throw from the beach. We stayed in the onsuit cabin which was small but so comfy. We had a wonderful night and woke early to watch the sun rise.The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back

Location is perfect for a gateway, when you want that fresh air and to hear the ocean on your dream s while sleeping, waking up from a sound of singing birds, eating your breakfast while watching the ocean waves splashing on each other.This is a lovely place with a bar on site, and a bit of music to keep your mind occupied if you are that kind of person, snooker on site and safe too.

This is hands down the most relaxed and least concerned easiest and most enjoyable hostel I have ever stayed at. Free use of surfboards, body boards, paddle boards gives this wonderful place a huge bonus. The fire pit is available to any one and as long as you understand how to respect others in this social environment I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay right on the beach, relax, and enjoy a good time. Great place to stay and enjoy the beach and sun.

We were there just this past weekend with our hiking club.On the second night, three of our members had criminals enter into their tents and three cellphones were stolen while the members were sleeping.Reporting this to management was a clear waste of time as the owner was only concerned with evading responsibility after her manager clearly lied to her about what he informed us regarding petty theft" in the area.On the 3rd night these criminals attempted to steal our items while we were still seated around the fire and were comfortable enough to even come back three more times during the same evening.Do not

The bar is very pricey, drink specials are special as they are more expensive than other places normal drinks. Sorry guy's. But the outside fire area is lovely.

It's a very laid back setup, nothing fancy but enough space to accommodate a fair amount of people for a party, did attend such a party. Liquor prices are a bit pricey but still acceptable

Very casual, rustic feel. For both locals and overseas clients. Location is perfect as you right on the beach and if you enjoy a game of pool like me then you can enjoy one here too at night there's always a bonfire burning there's nothing better than an ice cold beer around a fire.
