My first time here - took my daughter for supplies.Hidden away with no clear signboards. The set up is really cool. Staff is absolutely brilliant with detailed advice. Also has a little gallery going on.

Best place to go for spray paint/graffiti supplies. Super friendly and helpful staff, they make you feel very welcomed and will help with whatever you need. They have a wide range of colours and caps available, and the markers are also top quality, prefer them over Copic. Definitely a great place to go whether you're just getting started or you need to resupply.

My son, who is looking to craft his skills as a Graffiti Artist, visited this store to get advice on paints, nozzles and colours. He was helped by Stuart at Grayscale. Stuart was knowledgeable, patient and open to hearing what my son required to start his passion. We also were provided sound advice with regards to the necessary safety aspects when working with spray paint.I strongly recommend this store for anyone seeking professional and solid advice.

The coolest colours, great prices, and if you need a bit of advice you’ll be sorted. Their graffiti paint works well on all surfaces: glass, ceramic, fabric and so on. It’s a real gem in Braam.

This store was a mixed bag for me on one hand it was very hard to find with no signage and when I was there the staff seemed uninterested. But on the other hand they have a great selection of paint and it is the only place to buy German Montana

Well as much as I do alot of street art tours, you'd still want to go visit greyscale and meet the artists themselves remember the names on the wall because it will all matter when you get to grey scale, it is a haven for street artists who want to buy spray paints, and it is a body souvenir shop for those who would love to get Some amazing tattoo works done by their favourite street artist. What a cool way to remember Joburg.
