Thunder Ridge Spur Steak Ranch
An excellent version of the Spur chain. It's own private guarded parking, lots of families were there when I was there creating a real positive vibe and family atmosphere. The service and food runs like a conveyor belt with a big smile here. I had to change my review following my last visit. DONT order their beef burgers, they are full of bone pieces breaking your teeth!

I was there to celebrate my son's 4th birthday, this was the 3rd birthday were celebrating there this year only, my boys love the play area but this time around the birthday party ended in tears as two of my boys were bullied by another child that was there with her family.When my kids returned crying i went to the play area to find out what the problem was, requested for the manager to come and the father of the child that bullied my kids turned out to be a bully himself by dismissing that my kids were bullied and he said that in Afrikaans thinking we couldnt hear him.The manager tried to calm me down and offeres us drinks but if it was the other way around and my kids bullied that white girl they probably would have chased us out because the managers concern was more about keeping me quiet because me being angry was disturbing other guests while the parents of the bully continued eating their meals in peace.I took 2 weeks before i could write this but it is not sitting well with me that the family of the bully was allowed to continue sitting in the restuarant to continue with their meal in peace while i had to confort crying kids, one of the kids bullied was 2 years old and in total i had 10kids with me.I will never set foot there ever again, i will find a different restuarant for our boys birthdays.

Do not go to this Spur! If I could give them 0 stars, I would.On the 19th of February, my family and I went to this spur for my mother's birthday lunch. A day later we all fell very ill and we got food poisoning. My mother and I have been in and out of doctors offices and hospital due to the food poisoning caused by this restaurant. I am still dealing with gastrointestinal issues that I've never had before eating at this resturant. This was the WORST restaurant experience my family and I have ever had.Be cautious when eating at this restaurant.

One of the best Spurs to eat. Friendly and quick service- even when there is a full house.Big beautiful play area for kids.The unreal breakfast is value for money.

I normally love the food, the atmosphere and service, but will never order their scrambled eggs again. They make it in oil and I was sick for a day after eating it. The complaint was also not handled well. I was offered a new portion after ready advising that I was feeling ill after consuming half the portion.

The worst service ever received at spur. Changed tables 3 times. Food arrived after 30 minutes, wrong order. Changed waiters twice. The worst Father's day service burnt toast, reminded me why I stopped visiting

The service was the best we've had in the last few years. From being greeted with sincere friendliness at the door to our waiter (Schwann) with great recommendations and swift service throughout the evening, we were pleasantly surprised! We never waited for anything despite visiting during loadshedding, and even though it was quite full, it never felt crowded. Would definately visit again.

More healthy options healthy people are needed. Please, do not just give options of food drenched in Canola Oil and crumbs. The healthy people only have a selection of a few salads with not much variety.

Spare ribs too sweet. Other food tasteless.Air conditioner blows down directly onto certain tables.Spent over R700. Gave Spur points card for swiping. Points did not come through. Was told it is due to loadshedding. To date, still no points. Bill wasnt returned to me after paying cash.Wont be going there again!!
