Montagu Four Seasons

Been here for three visits in four yesrs, its still a big hit for our family.....so many positive points on my wishlist for long stay destinations.

We only stayed for 1 night. But really great place. We will definitely stay there again.

Most enjoyable stay and the hospitality was very sincere by Carina. The perfect hostess. Only wish that guest houses etching would consider where they put their electrical outlets. Some of us travel with a number of electronic devices. Thank you Carina.

It's a beautiful nice quiet place and always feels like home

Best place to be in Montagu if you want to take a break from the city rush. To be honest, I think we got more for our money. First impression is the friendly welcome by the owner, Carina Joubert. Our unit was neat, nicely furnished with all the accessories and appliances needed for a self catering cottage, the braai place was neat, there's wood ready for use, the pool is neat, there's sufficient parking space. I definitely would go back to Montagu four seasons.

A cute little escape! Easy to find, nice self catering units. Their garden is well maintained which makes the cold beer on the porch with their fully equipped braai space that much sweeter. If you're in Montague, this is the place you want to stay at.

A group of ladies, we spent a lovely long weekend at Montagu Four Seasons and were very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of our accommodation. Most things we needed were provided. The rooms were exceptionally clean and neat, especially the shower which is usually a problem with most establishments. The bed linen was fresh and crisp. Carina was extremely helpful with advice and assistance. The premises are right in the centre of town and we felt safe. We will definitely stay there again. We were disappointed that the pool was not heated, though, and we hope that will be functioning next time we go to Montagu.

Really homely and relaxing. Carina puts a lot in attention to detail so you have all the comforts of home at hand. Brilliant beds and my children had the best sleep ever. The warmest old country hospitality. And Montagu is a gem in the mountains. Avalon Springs is closed for day visitors to the natural hot springs so get Carina to book alternative excursions in advance.

Lovely place, very quiet, great for a weekend away from busy city life. The accommodation is amazing.The property is right in the middle of the small town, so its has easy access to hiking trails, wine farms and restaurants.
