Computer Mania

I tend to avoid Computer Mania in Cavendish Square as the service in the past 3 years has been shocking. When I go there, I feel ignored and that I am lucky to be served (and it's been like this every time),. I wondered if it is because I am female because men seem to get a different treatment. The main contender seems to be the older man who seems to think he is too superior to serve you. I ended up buying a computer there because Kenilworth Centre didn't have stock of the computer I wanted. When I went in this morning to the shop as I had a number of questions regarding my new laptop which keeps closing down, the older man referred me to someone who didn't seem that interested in helping me. I eventually told them off which was unpleasant. I will never buy a computer from Computer Mania in Cavendish Square, it isn't worth it.

I recommend them. Brought in a new laptop from another dealer that was arrogant and not willing to be accountable for the fault the laptop had. I took it to Computer Mania and they did an amazing job. Initially, they said it might take 2 - 3 days due to loadshedding issues. But it only took hours for them to fix it. They are friendly and they know what they are doing. If you want to be happy with your technology, go to them and they will assist you.

Older coloured guy working there is actually extremely rude , as a company dying due to Evetech and Wootware taking over. It’s sad to see you guys chasing away needed customers.

Provided great service! Helpful, knowledgeable staff that didn't try to oversell parts. Identified the problem with my PC and didn't even charge for the investigation!

Just bought my first laptop today for university and Julian helped me out. His customer service was excellent and he knew what he was talking about! Highly recommend anyone to check out the computer mania in Cavendish!

Highly recommend. Every time I've come here, staff has been very friendly and helpful. Today I needed screws for my laptop and, at no cost - in a very short period, had screws put in. Thank you so much Stephen, your service is much appreciated.

Two of your employees have an attitude problem and don’t make a customer feel welcome.Thanks to the assumedly Muslim gentlemen who was the only one to hat was helpful.

Was weary after having had a horrid burglary , waiting an age for our insurance pay and had been scouting about for options. These guys had good deals and then I called and they did not have in stock. But they had a dude working there called Adrian - who literally went riding around to collect the computers I requested from other branches so I could purchase and collect the next day. Adrian went more than the extra mile and I totally appreciate his kindness, willingness to assist and advise. Thanks so much again.

A big shout out to all staff for their help in getting my computer up and running. At no stage was I under any pressure to buy a new one. Their help and patience is greatly appreciated and when the time comes for a replacement I most certainly will shop here as I know I will be given honest and the best advice. Thanks so much!

Had an old laptop that was barely functional. Took it to them and they told me what was wrong and what was needed to fix it at no cost. They were very friendly and helpful and gave me a second hand battery at no product cost and a tiny install fee. Since then they have also fixed my other laptop at no charge when they realise it’s only a quick job. 10/10 would recommend
