Umoya Resort

Awesome place to go and relax. The staff is friendly, helpful and fast to respond to any queries or problems. Lots of entertainment for the kids! Bathrooms are clean and well maintained with proper warm showers! Will go there anytime again!

The new owners have worked very hard to upgrade Umoya Resort. The kids play area is absolutely amazing with a boat and a jeep to play in, along with an array of jungle gyms to clime around on. During the Christmas period they had entertainment with music and games for all ages. There is a shop and a bar, although not always open. The camp stand with the private bathroom was a win. Atmosphere was very peaceful. Will definitely recommend

Ok and clean we stayed in tent 5. The outside shower we used every day the best the pathway rather sement and some sort of rail to enter the tent from the shower side it is a battle for disable people. Rather a normal bath. My husband has polio and was a battle. Nice lovely hot water.Next to the sink another cupboard to unpack your stuff there is now counter space..The worse is electricity plug on the floor in the kitchen. No plugs in the bedroom. Would be nice to have a light hanging from the top. Those solar lights are terrible and dont give enough light when it is loadshedding.Fridge good. Normal pots please. Also you do need a stove gas will be fine..When it rains at the back where the electric lead comes in it rain in there on the same side by the bedroom aswell. Right above the sink the seam to the left on the roof leakedl when it rained.The tent itself .... the velgro strips are finished the straps at the bottom broken..we put cable ties the flapping on a stormy night is no fun.Love the swimming pools.Friendly staffDo the upgrades everything will be good.Surely will be back ... we will do the camping next

We were camping. Our site was neat and clean. Very friendly staff and management. Pools are kept clean all the time. Swim up bar has great bartenders who are always willing to help. Great family atmosphere.

Staying in die tent houses has that safari feel to it, friendly staff and the resort is clean. Very nice place to blow off some steam

You are welcomed by the owners and they check up on you on a daily basis! Resort is very neat and tidy, there are private ablution facilities. Lots for the kiddies to do! And early morning and late afternoon there is a heard of springboks that come wondering through!

A very well organized camping place for carrevan

This is a caravan park with a difference. There is 20 stands with private bath rooms. The showers are nice and comfortable for our bigger campers. The normal campsites is neat and kept in good condition. Each stand has a gravel square for your tent or caravan. The ablutions is neat, clean and spacious with family bathrooms. There is 5 tent houses. I want to thank ANSI and Malcolm for their hospitality and personal touches. This caravan park is safe with electrical fences. There is a beautiful play ground for the children.

One of our best camping vacations in a long time, owner and staff are really friendly and always around, pool are clean and ablution facilities are also always clean, would recommend this place to anyone

We enjoyed our stay its nice place to relax. I suggest a ramp to be build for wheelchairs easy access to the fixed tents
