What a lovely place! What amazing food! Always fresh and changing menu served by Herman and cooked by Ingrid. Both are warm, professional and full of laughter. You can watch Ingrid as she prepares your meal with imagination and finesse or you can sit on the stoep and watch the sunset. This is a place that serves fresh food with soul and love. I recommend it highly.

We visited Ingrid's on a Sunday for lunch with our 3 year old son and had a lovely meal and experience. It is a warm and welcoming place. Ingrid and her team made us feel instantly at home. The food isn't quite fancy, but is fresh, honest, tasty and authentic -- prepared with care and skill, and using good quality ingredients. We had an excellent seafood chowder, and really good linefish and mussels. A satisfying meal and decent winelist. (One suggestion: homemade bread before the meal rather than baguette slices would really complete the picture!) Everyone was sweet and accommodating towards our toddler and service was attentive and kind. It's the kind of place where you leave feeling happier than when you arrived. Highly recommended. Good food and a nurturing and relaxing atmosphere. Go there!

Just had the most amazing evening here. Food was more than amazing, dont expect any fancy meals but everything is as if should be. Felt like visiting my auntie, expect it was Ingrid and her staff.Food is great, prices are too low and the dogs are too cute.5/5 totally recommend, will come back

Homey, authentic, delicious food. Lovely setting with open-plan kitchen and sea breeze. Mussels were particularly good, as was the chowder. Would be good to see more local beers and wines on the menu.

Being a new spot right on our doorstep, we were super excited to get to know the place. We were absolutely amazed and super impressed, Ingrid the owner, cook and master of it all, is very friendly and enthusiastic and there to assist and help with anything you can think of. The menu is interesting and refreshingly different, a certain plus for the culinary scene on this side of Stanford. I do hope and trust that the local bargain hunters will not push the prices and ultimately the quality down like at so many other places in Gansbaai. This is a great homely place with top range quality food and service whilst well priced for what you will be served, but only if you expect good and interesting food, if not, the usual take away will serve you better in terms of quantity and price.Well done Ingrid and team, we will be regulars, please keep up the good quality and service.

My husband said the lambshank he ordered, was the best lambshank he has had in a long time. I enjoyed my Kingklip too. Oh and the baklava for desert! Superb! While we were waiting for oir food, we received some lovely olives to nibble on. The restaurants interior is homely with a twist of the mediteranian. We will certainly recommend Ingrids to anyone.

Wonderful new spot in De Kelders. Small restaurant with lots of heart and passion. A restaurant/ deli. The food was amazing. Loved the fresh soft and crisp burger buns and baguettes. The food was well prepared and plated. The French fries/ chips are to divine! The desserts were equally as delicious and the little shortbread cookies (with tea/coffee) are wonders. The food is well priced (not overpriced) and overall the quality of the produce, flavour and skill speaks for itself. If you do have any needs or comments or worries, they are more than willing to assist. We had a lovely time. The attention to detail is amazing, from the sugar pots to table decorations and overall decor. The owner and staff are very friendly and professional. There is much more to come. I am super excited from what I have been told and look forward to what they will offer in the near future.Their website will be added soon.We will definitely be return customers. Will be posting an update in coming months.

Loved Ingrid’s. Very homey atmosphere with friendly, personable staff and owners. The cappuccino muffin was the best I’ve ever had. Really worth checking out when you’re in or around De Kelder’s.

Absolute gem of a restaurant in De Kelders, Gansbaai. Have eaten there twice with friends and the food is unsurpassed. Presentation and flavour; quite simply outstanding!- Ingrid’s is a little restaurant with plenty of atmosphere. An ever-changing, small menu will guarantee something fitting for anyone as dishes are quite diverse. Please be advised to call for a booking to avoid disappointment. As at this date, their liquor license is nearing approval so bare in mind taking a bottle of wine along should you so choose. You really won’t be disappointed!
