My son's U6 team played against the Highlands Park FC U6 team today and came away with an amazing 2-all draw. They played with only 4 players against a full spirited Highlands Park team. But why did my son's team only have 4 players for the entire game? Why did my 3-year-old have to play in goal? Because Highlands Park refused for the regular goalkeeper to play as he had already turned 7 in the course of this year. Rules are rules. So, the poor 7-year-old had to be told after his parents drove him 35km early in the morning, that he can't play a non-competitive game of football. Why couldn't the little boy play and a complaint lodged with the league thereafter? What was the lesson for the kids when they see a visibly disappointed child is stood on the sideline? It's just a game but I so wished that my son's team smashed Highlands Park just to teach those entitled, loud mouths a lesson in humility. The threats from the Highlands Park team parents did not go unnoticed. The wheel turns. One day one of their kids will be on the receiving end of unnecessary exclusion and no amount of nasal whining, sense of entitlement or northern suburbs money will change it.

Terrible attitude of the management towards newcomers. We came 3 weeks after the official starting date and were treated like we committed a crime or did something illegal.This is not champions league, but an extramural. !!! The kids are young and they are here to enjoy and learn how to play as a team at this stage of their lives. 99,9% of them are not going to become professional soccer players.It seems like it has been blown completely out of proportion. Very disappointed!

Very good facility for soccer. Watched nice football matches today

Highlands Park is a very good club for children to learn soccer and other things like respect and sportsman ship, and really hard to find a football club like highlands that can give you options to get to higher levels....

Can I join the team. I m 17 years old pro player looking for a team, I played for lions United and HP stars every Sunday I play indoor. I m a very good player number 7 or any number.
