Besos Restaurant

Disappointing. If I could rate anything below 1, I would. There were a number of problems that made the experience of dinning in this place unpleasant. The glasses we were given were dirty, these had to be turned back so they were thoroughly cleaned. The food I ordered had a very DRY roll, I wasn’t even able to eat it. The food here is mediocre at best. The service we had received from our waitress was okay, until we had to make our payments. We received a slip which included the gratuity amount. We all made our payments, and made sure to include the gratuity amount and were later told that we only paid our waitress a tip of 50 cents. Despite explaining numerous times and presenting the slip with all calculations which added up to the total indicated, this was still questioned. We were told about systems/ machines that were not working properly. I would think if they were aware of this, they would check on their side first to ensure that everything was captured accurately instead of accusing their customers of not paying. Based on our experience, I definitely will not be coming back here.

A must try! One of my favorite restaurants around Sandton. Great food, service, and vibes. I highly recommend seafood risotto and all pasta dishes.

Had the best service and delicious food! The prawns and salmon highly recommend. Plus live music! What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

One of the best restaurants I have ever been in, great service excellent food. Try the lobster roll the best I have ever tasted. Well done. It's a must experience.....

Quick coffee stop.... wonderful experience! Attentive staff, dairy free cappuccino options...delicious table nibbles! Such a treat! Lunch stop next time for sure!

We got Tacos for takeaway . The taco shells were stale or rather weren’t put in the oven before serving , the beef filling was oily , by the time we got home the takeaway boxes were full of oil. We tried warming them and couldn’t finish them because they were dripping of oil.Definitely not worth getting the tacos as a takeaway . Also this was my second bad experience at the restaurant

I ordered fish and chips and my fish was completely pink and raw inside I had to request that it be taken back. My friend ordered the sliders and another the lobster roll and the bread was so stale it was crumbing. The portions are decent but is it really worth it if your food is raw or stale. The service was also not amazing, our main waitress was 3/5 but she left us in the hands of another at some point and that waiter took years to get us our drinks. There was an issue with the payments machine and some of my friends had to swipe twice even though the money was deducted from their side. Overall my experience was a 4/10.

My new favourite spot ! Went there a couple of times,food and service always amazing.My favourite: caccio e pepe, crispy eggs and burger .Oh and not to forget the tres leche dessert, yum!!!
