I had a wonderful experience. Long story short, I’ve been in africa for three weeks and needed my nails refreshed. It’s always scary for me to go to new beauty specialist that aren’t my main people. Anyway - she was SO SWEET and was able to get me in same day (I had a very limited time in Cape Town) I love my nails! I love the color, the shape, the vibe they had, the conversation, everything was so great.

Pros: very friendly and kind. Cons: Unfortunately hygiene is soooo important but the same equipment was used for my hands and feet:/ no sign of disinfection tools was there. The table was disorganised. The pedi was done well but the manicure not so good. The polish is over the cuticle. Sorry but I mean no disrespect to your business but I had to point the following out.

She did an amazing job! nice manicure and cared for the cuticles. She gave me extra tips for better cuticles. the nails are exactly how i wanted them. The picture that I showed her couldn’t have been implemented better. She was so lovely

I never leave bad reviews but unfortunately I have not had a good experience with this business. I had my nails done on the 20th and the photo is from the next day. Within a week all of my nails are chipped. The owner has been very inconsistent with communication in getting them fixed and now it’s already 10 days later. I understand there being a delay with the holidays but it’s really the poor communication and poor gel manicure that frustrates me.

I went to Hashtag Colour Nails yesterday for the first time & it certainly won't be the last. My nails were a complete mess having moved house in the past month. Carlyn is lovely & a miracle worker with repairs & gel. She kindly fitted me into her busy schedule, seeing me on a public holiday. My nails show no sign of the breakages, or the packing & unpacking of more than 20 boxes in my house move. I have been having my nails done for more than 30 years & Carlyn is right up there with the very best nail technicians I've enjoyed. I'm looking forward to my next appointment.

Carlyn at the Kloof Street location is an absolute nail genius. I'm very fussy about my nails and she never misses the mark. Really the best place to go for flawless acrylic or gel nails.

Go get your nails done here, 100% recommend. Carlyn is fantastic and so creative. You can go with your own reference pics, or just ask her to do her thing and surprise you and it always impresses.
