There is no doubt that Newlands is one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in the world. The renovations are now complete, so the scaffolding has been removed.

Beautifully maintained cricket grounds with a nice variety of food available from vendors inside the grounds (but be warned, their food does not come cheap...). Altogether, a great day out for the whole family

Newlands Cricket Ground
There was only one eatery open, resulting in long lines most of the time we were there. Suggestion would be that more establishments need to be opened at such events. The seating need to be cleaned more often. The cricket game we watched was the best part of the experience.

One of the best stadiums in the world. Not very far off from the Capetown center. Beautiful view of table mountains in the backdrop. Nice food counters , electric atmosphere with a good sound system . Attentive & responsible staff.Remember to not to take any metallic items in a bag ( drop even deo , sunscreen ) .

Always an exceptional experience. Cape Town knownhow to host events and the opening match of the women's cricket world cup was wonderful. Great atmosphere. Wonderful experience all around
