Breathtaking resort with a variety of activities from horse riding, camping, hiking, walking and seeing all the animals. Friendly staff and the bathrooms are really nice and clean! We camped and enjoyed the scenery.

Camping facilities are a bit run down to the point where it could be very dangerous for children. Piers that are falling apart and open electrical boxes to name just a few.

We were told that we will see animals on our horse ride yet we didn't even see a single one the guide was on his phone the whole time so we weren't even sure that was the correct route that we were supposed to take

The charlet was very clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay. Silver Mist is located amongst camps with horses and a lovely river. It has lush and green surroundings, fresh mountain air and beautiful gardens.

Make sure you get full details on loadshedding and power issues before arriving, as some units have power whilst others don't - and it's never explained why. But, the setting and the area remain magical. Do yourself a favour and spend some time watching the horses and alpacas. Pure joy.
