Surf Inn is under new management. Had the pleasure to stay there before Covid under previous management and after covid in 1November 2021. New management made some changes. So not a hostel anymore. Staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Place is clean. Happy to say we were their first guests. Stayed an extra night after swell dropped so we can enjoy the burger special in the surf village.

Love it! Very spontaneous decision, but the great atmosphere made us stay even longer. Alex is amazing, made us feel like family. Even on rainy days he knew what to do! Had two great nights with pool games, movies, cooking, pancakes for breakfast, jokes and laughter and an awesome time.The place is not even 5 minutes from the beach, has everything you need and if not alex makes sure that you will get it.Definitely the greatest place where you could stay in jbay! Even greater if you know how to surf, because it actually made me sad that I could not :("

Alex took great care of me and my gang of rag-tag goons. Obviously, the location is outrageusly good. The beds are pretty damn good as well. The facilities, kitchen / bathrooms are all good. But the best part was the character of staff"-lets say. Don't forget to ask for Steven

Everything was very clean and the Staff was really nice and cool and tried to include you in every activity. Pancakes for breakfast were included as well. The beach is just a 2 minute walk! I would definitely come back!

Alex was just the best host ever! He really looked after us and made sure we had the best time! It was clean and extremely comfortable. We will 100% be returning. And the pancakes were the BEST!!!

Such a great place! We've stayed in all the backpackers in Jbay and this is one of our favourites. Roll out your bed and surf world-class Supertubes - enjoy the free delicious pancakes every morning - and have a laugh with the coolest manager in Jbay, Steven.We stayed there 4 days and wish we could stay longer. Will DEFINITELY be back!

Extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. Excellent value for money. Clean, tidy and convenient with parking at the door and a stone's throw from the ocean. Wonderful!

Very nice, modern and new backpackers. Close to the beach, perfekt for surfing. In a very safe area of Jefferys Bay. Clean, and with nice hosts. There is a little Garden where you can leave your board. You can spend your evening playing pool :) All in all I would definitely recommend!

A very personal and familiar backpackers where you can hear the waves crashing when you lay in bed. The pancakes are amazing and you even get them at 3am if you ask nicely. :-) Had such a fun time with the manager Alex, he made our stay sooo worthwhile and showed us the area. Will be back❤
