Over-charged, under experienced, over promise and under- delivery, and extremely disappointed.We were quoted telephonically a certain amount (with the person on the other end knowing exactly how many guys would be styled), only to be totally over-charged for a really bad haircut and style for my now husband’s beard and hair for our wedding day. Sash said he would make my husband’s fringe stand out and ended up cutting it off completely. Then, he missed parts of his beard too. Really disappointed and will never recommend Deacon’s again!!!!

Sacha, Kyle and Josh are the only barbers to go to in Hillcrest. Best place to get a haircut. Awesome service, friendly place, great music and vibe and oh yes, perfect haircut. It's worth the time spent there and beats going to the other barbers in the area who will never know your name!

Stylish, beer, coffee or whisky while you wait (a nice touch, if you’re into that), cool decor. But still expensive for what you get. R370 for a gents haircut.
