William Gift Civil was hired to tar my driveway. After accepting the quote and paying him the tarring was complete, however he ran out of tar and subsequently spread it too thin in places.When I called, a few days later, to ask if I should be able to push my finger into to tar as it was very soft, he attacked me immediately saying that I was destroying the tar. Surely I should not be able to lift the tar out with my hand almost a month later. We are unable to drive on the driveway as the wheel leaves marks in the tar and lifts it. The tar is also cracked in places and grass is already starting to grow through, less than a month later. He has outright refused to repair the damage as part of his 5 year warranty.The level of unprofessionally and downright childish behaviour is the reason I'm writing this review, as a warning to others before they part with their hard earned money.A very bad experience that now has to go the legal route.Response to reply: Contractor was paid in full and on time, in fact he asked for an additional deposit of R7000 over and above the initial 50% which I paid the very next day too. William Gift Civil was paid in full and I have proof of this!Unfortunately his response only proves his character. There is nothing false in my statement above but William sees it fit to continue the lies.
