They've been around for more than a decade, and I keep coming back here - despite a number of similar places popping up in Bloemfontein. Affordable, fast hands, open 7 days a week and no appointment needed. Staff are friendly, yet efficient - they get the job done. If you are looking for a more social experience which includes coffee, hugs, kisses and smoke being blown up certain orifices - I suggest looking elsewhere.

The lady who cut my 5 year old's hair was shocking. She pulled his hair roughly until he cried. She didn't even apologise or try to engage with him as one normally would with a hurt child. Eventually I brushed his hair myself after she said that she can't do it without hurting him. That's ridiculous...a woman with long, curly hair should know how to brush hair gently! I've never had that happen at a barber shop before. He's had a lot of haircuts and is pretty tough. And she definitely skipped the module on customer etiquette. No smile or welcome, more like she was taking a deep inner sigh with an eye roll to muster up the strength to get off her behind.I won't be returning and don't recommend it for kids.However, it's great for guys who don't feel like making small talk and getting a good job done quickly with no fuss. The male barber was great with my 8 year old who said he was very gentle.

Have always taken my grandson for his haircut and he has always been extremely happy. They make him look so handsome -every time! My husband also only goes there for his haircut and comes away looking even more handsome!! Thanks for your fantastic job that you do!

Very poor service because as soon as you walk in you feel judged the employees are not very nice only one girl who works there is nice the thin girl she’s very nice but the man and the other lady are very rude !!!!!!!! I do not recommend this barber shop.

At least there are some things about me that Google does not know. I am bald, so why would I want to go to a barber? From the outside the place looks pleasant enough. Also, they have been there a while, so they are probably pretty good.

At Barber FS you can expect very friendly and experienced staff.I very highly recommend Nicole, she is extremely friendly, provide good customer service, is very proficient in the art of mens hair styling and thus, does an amazing job with each and every client, every time.Meghan the new addition to the team also did an amazing job with my son’s hair, even with the limited knowledge she has obtained in so little time, and she is very good with children.My experience at Barber FS every time i go is more than good, its great, i always feel welcome and i always receive good service.I recommend them highly.

Terrible. Staff is rude, doesn't even greet you when you come in. No rounding off. My husbands hair has lines showing and his beard he asked to be shaped and trimmed there are still long hair between the short, hairs in his neck it has not been cut and there is no shape. Absolutely terrible. Do not go here
