The food is top notch, but unfortunately it's so good that it draw a huge crowd, and you have to wait long in line to even order.But the food is good, you can decide if it's worth the wait, we waited, but not an every time thing to wait. You just need to know when to go

Soft, tender, calamari and the chips was delicious, worth driving from Mitchells Plain. The baby full house Gatsby was good as well and the fish roll rocked. Fast-food done right

Insane value for money. I bought a baby Gatsby but it was the size of an actual baby, I'm not exaggerating. You get so much food and it was only R83. I ordered a calamari, hake and chip Gatsby and it was so delicious! I ate that single Gatsby for both lunch and dinner. Flavor is superb and there's so much calamari and hake stuffed into the Gatsby. This is the home of the Gatsby and it has so much history related to Rashaad Pandy who created the Gatsby. I highly recommend the food here!

For a traditional Gatsby ita the place you have to try...the only problem with this place forget about phone orders they never pickup even the times they say you must call....and be prepared to wait in a line...peak hours I noticed are around lunch time and feom 330pm to closing time...lines are long....says alot though food is special...if you want that traditional Gatsby....and ps try the archer source trust me

They're popular and the food is decent. This combination sadly means they don't need to get to improve on the customer experience. They have a queue out the door but they don't expand or take on more staff so it took me over an hour to get served on my SECOND day of trying. 1st day I missed the cut off because I saw they STILL don't take credit cards so I sent to the shop next door to get cash at the ATM and when I came back the queue was closed. It actually creates a somewhat hostile environment for the customers as on day 2 a 'Karen' demanded to see the manager to comparing about the queue being closed.
