Gym Company - Newtown

Joined the gym, im new and dont know how to use any of the equipment, was told that i will be given and instrustor and that didn't happen. I went to the person who helped me join he told me to go change in a change room and come back to him he will give me an instructor. When i went back he was gone. One guy tried to help but he was rushing somewhere and showed no intrest so clearly it is about the money only not to help clients reach their goal. It was just a bad experience for me for a first day im not sure if i will go back.

It’s been third time my belongings got stole in this gym. And management told me had nothing to do with goods being stolen

Gym is very clean and instructors respect time.

Terrible conditions , probably the worst gym company location I've ever been to, equipment is never maintained ,no body cares, the personal trainers are rarely even in the gym area , they are there to socialize , worst gym company facility ever .

This place deserves 0 star rating. The admin is absolutely horrible. I've had a back and forth with them for months about cancellation of my subscription and this after paying the cancellation fee (which was super expensive by the way). I've had to deal with multiple employees about the same issue. The location is not great and their equipment is honestly just average. I wish they would clean the facilities more, the bathrooms are not always clean and every now and then a wipe down of the machines wouldn't hurt. If you're reading this here is my advice LOOK ELSEWHERE"Highly do not recommend"

DO NOT JOIN ❗❗❗The admin service is terrible! I struggled to close my account with an uncomfortable back and forth experience with soo many different people about very small issues. I strongly advise against joining this gym. User experience is just not great

The music is bad,not that clean,their machines are usually broken an they take their time to fix them..not spacious enough an sometimes you have to stand in line just to go in because their system

On the 12th of May I went to one of your Gyms that is located in Johannesburg Newtown, when I got I was told that there is a promotion of R199, I asked them if I could join the gym and they told I need to sign an agreement, then we went inside the offices where a consultant started asking me questions and filling the agreement form, then after she finished filling I was told to sing the agreement but I told them I can't sign it without reading it. They didn't want me to read the agreement, after reading the package that cheapest package I saw that you have to pay R500 for the activation, when I asked about it I was told that i won't pay it and it will be canceled, we will go to the finance office and tell them to cancel, I told them I want to take the agreement home and read it through, the manager started shouting at me for not signing, but later agreed that I take the agreement home with me, when I got home I read the agreement and it states that the agreement should be filled by me not the consultant and that I should be taken through the agreement and understand it. Firstly I was lied to by the manager that the promotion will run until I feel like cancelling it, but when I read the agreement it told me something different. today on the 13th of May in the morning when I woke up I received an email that there is a Debit order of R800 registered to my account from the Gym company. How come is it that a debit order is registered to my account when I didn't not sign the agreement?
