Food Lover's Market La Lucia

I have worked at the mall for over 12 years. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I do miss the wide range of products that i used to get. I do miss some of the items from outside suppliers.I did have 2 bad experience the last time i popped in. There was a manager yelling at a staff member, oblivious to the fact that myself and other customers was watching. The manager was extremely rude to him. Yes food lovers is now corprate... but i feel any disciplinary should be take care of privately.My second hiccup was that i purchased golden pockets. I was fasting (non meat), i could only purchase vegetarian pockets. To my horror, when bit in... the pockets were slimy and disgusting. Shouldn't things like these be prepared daily or stored properly before putting it out for customers to purchase?I love food lovers, i love shopping there but i can't support a company that allows managers to shame staff on the floor. Nor can i buy things to eat after my last incident.I hope this complaint does not seep through the the cracks.Kind Regards

firstly you do not need a rating.spanspek had no pricing, ask an employee for a price .he mention he has no idea and refuse to go the extra mile to get a price. got to cashier an INDIAN LADY ( priya)no manners failed to greet asked to see manager she failed to call manager was just rude .we came into your shop to purchase fruit and vegs not begging and not to be abused by your staff. it seems that FOOD LOERS IS LOSSING THEIR FOCUS.

We go in weekly - there are some decent specials. The service is excellent- there's always someone to assist whether it's something you cannot reach or to check on stock.Everything is neat and tidy. Queues move fast.

This is my second complaint regarding foodlovers market la Lucia because the first one I sent seemed to have been swept under the carpet, as usual especially when the people running this store care two hoots about how a customer feels . Once again i ask how does the owners of This lovely store employ management who is pathetic, a manager that screams and addresses staff vulgarly on the customer floor, speaks of rodent infection at the top of his voice right infront of a customer. How can such behavior be accepted. I was fortunate to record a small bit while waiting for someone to assist me and here is this manager screaming on top of his lungs at a staff member, banging something, as it sounds . Seems like la Lucia is more interested in how much money is in the bank than being exposed by an ugly rude store manager who looks more like a general worker instead of the fore front of this store. Highly disappointed and disgusted . They want customers but still keep poison running the shop.

I absolutely love shopping at Food Lovers Market in La Lucia Mall! The store is always clean and well-stocked, with a great variety of fresh produce, meats, dairy, and specialty items. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and always willing to help me find what I need or answer any questions I have. One thing I particularly appreciate is the quality of the products - everything I've purchased here has been fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. I'm surprised that you consider a 3 star review to be good. Maybe I should elaborate. I purchased a box of mangoes and all were rotten, a punnet of cling peaches and all were mushy..... Please refer to my pics that I will upload together with my receipt. Needless to say, it all unfortunately went into the bin..... Fahim

On the 31/12/2022 I went in searching for a specific cake and despite having no confectioners on duty, the bakery manager ( Addy) along with a sweet lady both went above and beyond to make my request possible. This now is what I call customer service and would vastly recommend all in need of baked delights to visit this branch. I purchased a couple other baked goods and was not disappointed. Hats off to LA Lucia Food Lovers Market, you have won the lottery with the gems you have employed at the bakery section.
