The Builder guy Travis" Was really helpfull and Did an amazing Job on our outside Patio

The guy never gets back to you. He finished a job and left the rubble, kept saying his rubble remover will collect, but never did. His work, needed some redo, he dosnt supervise the guys he leaves on site to do the job and you eventually need to tell them what to do. (It doesn't really seem like they know what they are doing in any event) - Wanted to give him another chance to do some work at my new place, but he doesnt respond to requests.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to write this review to share my bad experience with using The Builder Guy.Travis initially indicated that my project (patio roof and tiling) would take only a few days. Few extra tasks added as we got started (gutters and fixing some foundation issues with the patio) and it is now 6 months later and the project is still not finished: few weeks of lockdown did obviously have an influence on the time, however if I take into account all the lies, empty promises and low quality of work, I would DEFINITELY not recommend anyone using Travis for any project (big or small).My gutters still need some work and the patio roof is still leaking after he tried to fix it on numerous occasions. Two months since I made the final payment and have not heard from him since (not responding to messages or answering my calls).Thanks for pushing me to this point: hopefully this review will ensure that other people don't have the same terrible experience I had to go through.

Do not trust Travis Cowen or the Builder Guy. He will let you down, lose interest and then disappear with your money without completing the job. Makes promises that he does not keep, sets deadlines then ignores them, says whatever he thinks you want to hear to secure another payment with zero intention of following through. I am now out of pocket and have to pay someone else to do what I have already paid him for.

Very disappointed.I lost alot of money on the project as he used subcontractors that did not deliver.He refused to take responsibilityDid not pay his worker so he could not complete the job.Unfortunately there is no iron in his words.

Thank you for helping us out. We will be using this company again, but in the near future, with other bits & bob’s we need to still do. * * * * *

The Bathroom Turned out super, what an amazing Experience .I thoght i would have endless Trouble with Rubble removal and quality of work but Travis and His team Really came thu and exceeded my Expectations Tank you Kumhalo and Travis

I am so disappointed in Travis, The Builder Guy, I had high hopes for him, and all he did was let me down. I stood up for him, kept giving him another chance, really hoping that he would deliver, that he would finish the project as he said he would - “I always complete my projects!”. A three week project was now running into five months with no end in sight. Sure, the lockdown played a part, but it there was more to it than that. I insisted we make allowances for him, understand the many problems he was facing, give him more time, pay for the materials he needed. Regrettably, I finally had to admit that I had placed my trust in the wrong person, excuse after many excuse, my worst fears were realized, this was never going to happen. He would never focus on our project, there would always be something else that was more pressing, another client who was much more important, another job that he needed to finish first.By this time we had paid out almost all of the money, and it seemed like there nothing in it for him anymore, he lost interest. At extra financial cost, we eventually engaged new contractors to complete the half-finished job he left behind, including the paving that started crumbling after just 3 weeks. Sadly, the passion he claims to have so much of, that he says sets him apart, is unfortunately exactly what’s missing.Update: Unfortunately Travis, we do all know the truth, you did not ever complete the job despite numerous chances given to you. My review stands - we had to pay twice - once to you for nothing, and again to someone who actually completed the job.
