For all essentials, I would recommend Nella Se Winkel. The shop is the most reasonable priced compared to the rest of the shops but fruit and vegetables are expensive and there's not a lot of variety to choose from. I love the home-baked goods.

The only shop in Witsand. Unfortunately I couldn't get fresh veggies for my potjie. Had to go to Heidelberg. A convenient shop with the basic supplies.

Just what you need in a small place like Witsand. Basically has everything and stays open till 5pm . Also has a petrol station and gas if you need for gas bottlesThe shop has just about everything 1 needs when on holiday , all the basic necessities from wood to soap

The owners that took over in 2022 have really improved the range & quality of the products sold here. Fresh fruit, veg, breads....all the essentials plus a few speciality products. They also have petrol pumps, fishing equipment, & the pudo drop off/pick up courier services. They are open to stocking requested products.

Been coming to witsand for 29 years and have been going to Nella's for a very long time. I bought eggs yesterday and they were cracked with maggots on it. Always use to have a great bakery area and that has also reduced to nothing.
