Avoca River Cabins

Avoca provided the perfect blend of tranquility and modern amenities. The private room we had had everything we needed for the night and the restaurant provided some amazing meals during our stay. Everyone was super friendly and we definitely hope to be back soon!

Simply beautiful! They offer breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was good. You are in the middle of an orange/lemon farm. I would for sure stay here again. This was my favorite place over the last three weeks through South Africa.

We try to visit this little gem of a place every year around Christmas. Every chalet is private and the views are spectacular. The garden is kept in perfect order all year round and the lay out of it and the colours of the flowers are perfect.Bird watchers will love all the different species everywhere to see.

We had a beautiful 3 night stay. Grounds kept in immaculate condition. Views breathtaking. Booking in and explanations all well done. We had a slight issue in our chalet. They sorted us out the very morning and offered a small complimentary brekkie for the inconvenience. Lovely pools. Beautiful orchards. Only gripe to us was the wifi that does not extended to chalet area. Not actually advertised or a password supplied when arriving. In today's day and age it is of importance in hospitality accommodation even if u want to just relax. Once again for chalet area a clothes rack or line should be supplied, either at the back or as a seperate stand feature which could be put on the stoep. Having to hang swimming costumes and towels out on stoep was not really tidy. A friendly dog that just welcomes herself was just too cute. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Lovely play area for kids. Feel safe as well. Thank you for your hospitality

Very friendly and nice Apartments. We had a lodge down at the river. The surrounding is very beautifully. Also the Locations is nice. Africanos a very good Restaurant is just around the corner and Addo is about 20 min away.

Wow!!! Clean, safe, spacious and just great! I adore Riaan and Wayne for their hospitality and extra attention to detail. Will always go back to Avoca. We had a wheelchair group and the accommodation was semi accessible, I would recommend it for anyone with physical challenges if they have a hand to help out.
