I went for a gelish and it pealed 1 day later. They offered to redo my nails but I still have issues with this set. Would not recommend.

For a store that has only been around for two years I think they have done really well for themselves. Their product range is great, everything from body butters, shower gels and nail polish. I had my nails done today. Received really good service. My only suggestion would be that they stock the technicians' stations better...the poor lady who was assisting me was running to and fro looking for product.

I have been going to sorbet for years, tried this branch today as it is close to home. I don’t think the staff are trained by Sorbet. They don’t know any of the colours, I had to point out and show her on the rack where to find ‘Tan my hide which is a popular color. There is no color wheel either. Won’t come to this branch again unfortunately.Update- nails completed with gel going onto 7/10 toes skin and over the cuticle…not neat at all unfortunately

Sorbet Olivedale is definitely one of my favorite Sorbets in Jhb. The staff are super friendly and really nice and make an effort with their regulars, ( you know the place where everyone knows your name ) Fiona is my go to lady for gelish nails and she always knows which color will look great on you. I highly recommend the full pedicure, lie back in the lazy boy chair close your eyes and just enjoy the pampering. Its always clean, smells nice and has a great vibe about it. You can get pretty much any face, body, hands, feet etc treatment done except the hair service.

Disappointing. poor client service. 20 minutes past my booked time and no sight of the therapist . neither did anyone bother to tell me why I was still sitting and waiting almost 25 minutes after my scheduled time. Both the receptionist and the therapist displayed poor service and I guess it does not matter to them that a client left due to their shoddy behavior. Thankfully there are other branches with better trained staff. The receptionist here needs to get some training in how to deal with customers. I will not be returning nor will I recommend them to anyone else.
