Rus in De Rust was the most amazing weekend getaway. So peaceful, beautiful views and everything you need to make this your home away from home. Warm, friendly hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Great check-in by Karin and the hosts Deon and Eli are amazing. Will most definitely recommend to my friends and anyone travelling to De Rust. GREAT STAY, THANK YOU!!!

Lovely stay in this beautifully restored heritage home. It is pet friendly and our dog enjoyed the big yard and the walks in the town and surrounding areas.

I love De Rust and his People.The Hotel is Great. And still upgrading.J & J Take away . There Chicken and Vis and chips are very good. Love it.

Beautiful gem in De Rust. We loved every single minute of our stay at Rus in de Rust. Most amazing town in the Western Cape region, with Meiringspoort Waterfall nearby. The house was meticulously clean and neat – the owners put a lot of effort in to the house to create a home away from home – Thanks Deon & Eli we will definitely visit again and highly recommend this accommodation

We were pleasantly surprised. Tasteful interior. It was obvious that the owners took great care with every detail. Crackling fresh linen and towels. Beautiful crockery and cutlery. Dogs were welcome.

I can highly recommend Rus In De Rust. This newly renovated house exceeded our expectations. Very stylish and love the artwork. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful small town. Will definitely be back in the near future. Thank you Deon!

Stayed at Rus in De Rust, 5 June 2021, en route from Centurion, circa 1100 kms, but what a treat to arrive at this quaint little town with certainly the best accommodation we stayed in, during our travels to and from the Cape the last 34 years. A must stay. Beautifully furnished, equipped and a great host.

What a marvelous stay! If you are looking for a homey, yet elegant and luxurious place to stay, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, then this is the place to chose.It is a stunning home with all the necessary amenities and more! The hosts are just wonderful and hands-on, and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed.The fact that it is pet friendly, with a large yard for the dogs to enjoy, makes it extra special!Thanks again for everything! We hope to visit soon again!
