The Deli Restaurant at Boschendal
Went there for a late lunch on 7 January 2023. It's a really adorable looking restaurant. We opted to sit inside because it was really hot weather. Unfortunately there was no aircon inside however there was a nice cool breeze. Our waitress was very friendly, informative and helpful.The special of the day was sirloin steak or fish. I opted for the sirlion steak (medium to well). My steak was well done which ended up being dry. The salad tasted sourish, perhaps it was the dressing, I'm not sure. The chips was ok.The rest of the table ordered tacos and the fish special. All around the food was edible.When the flies started surrounding the table our waitress brought a lit candle to keep the flies away. She also asked how the food was as she explained she needed to provide feedback.

Delicious breakfast with a stunning atmosphere beneath the oak trees. A good variety of food and drinks, with a child menu too. Friendly staff and lovely overall experience.

This is a decent place for a tidy breakfast or lunch. We had breakfast and we liked the service, coffee, wine and the food was okay.This place is friendly for kids but their parents shouldn’t come.Apparently the chicken that walked past our table was eaten later that night.

A wonderful experience at the oldest wine farm in the region. The Deli restaurant is set in a beautiful area with a stunning outside seating secton underneath the trees.The food is delicious with a fresh selection from the daily menu. The service is impeccable and the staff are friendly and warm.The gardens around the restaurant are absolutely stunning.In summary, a memorable lunch outing.

Every year my daughters and their father , choose a spot and place they will spend a daddy: daughters weekend. We also have to do a place or spot we’ve never done before and also visit spaces we’ve never seen before and chase new experiences.This yet we decided to spend a weekend in Stellenbosch.Saturday we visited Delise Restuarant at Boschendal.Service amazing and staff super customer centricThe space is COVID-19 regulations respectful . Also nice sits outside and lots of ventilation.Pets welcomed - people sitted next to us brought their beautiful sausage dog, well behaved indeed.The food unfortunately mixed ratings. Overall we all agreed it’s good but not great. A 5/10 at best 6/10.The experience is 8/10 not necessary the meal.There is also a picnic area you need to book in advance. If can’t do picnic the restaurant is a great space.

Food was amazing. Banana flapjacks and avo on toast, were both winners. Beautiful setting under the shade of the trees. The service was a little slow so don't be under pressure for time when visiting.
