I often come back from fine dining and think, whatever! They could at least have put salt and pepper on the table if they can't be bothered to add flavour to their food." But this was an encyclopedia of tastes and smells. The wine pairing was excellent. Chef Daniel

We had the pleasure of exeperiencing a fantastic evening at Clara's Barne. We had the five course set menu. Top marks for presentation, taste and generous portions. Those opting for the wine pairing werent disappointed by stingy volumes either. The beer drinkers were let down with the beer running out after 3 beers. A Short explanation with the food and why the pairing is suited would have been nice. One area that needs attention is proper directions from the farm entrance to the restaurant and also from parking to the entrance. Proper lighting would be great outside as it is a short, but pitch black walk back to the car. Small issue though and I can highly recommend an evening at Clara's Barne (especially if on a special deal as can get pricey).

An absolutely superb restaurant - stunning decor, great service and sublime food. Both the quail and sirloin courses were out of this world. Hard to believe the restaurant is not even three weeks old - a near flawless experience. Kudos to the chef and team for running such a tight ship.
