Great service and an amazing collection of equipment, Orms is your one-stop go-to destination for all things photographic or broadcast. The staff are always extremely helpful, and their selection is one of the best within the CBD and arguably all of Cape Town. They also offer second-hand equipment at a discount rate, which is perfect for the cameraman on a budget.Placing quotations with them is also a good idea, as you may receive assistance with discounts if your order quantity is sufficient.Definitely stop by - if not only for the free coffee!

A while ago, I took my Sony camera to Orms to have some small spots on the sensor cleaned. The gentleman behind the counter insisted that my sensor had mold on it, and said that it is beyond servicing, with my only option being to buy a new camera. Not believing a word I heard, I went home, ordered myself a cleaning kit, and within 15 minutes my problem was solved. Maybe think twice before servicing your equipment with Orms. It seems that they are not interested in helping you, they are only interested in selling their new and flashy equipment.

Terrible customer service. I used to shop at Orms as a teenager and would spend the money I had saved on camera equipment until multiple bad experiences with the staff put me off from shopping there. I recently returned after a few years expecting things to have changed but I was met with the same rude attitude I experienced in the past. Very disappointing.

Orms is great. Love it there. The staff are all really friendly, genuine and helpful. All sorts of things to buy for your camera. They do framing too and albums if I'm not mistaken. Really got me into using my film camera more, Henry even gave us a free roll of film to get us started. Love it there.Thanks!
