We went to see the settlers monument. It was okay, unfortunately it's not set up with visitor information about the place, it's history and why it came about thatthey erected the monument. The place has a great view over Grahamstown.

It was good although much smaller (less popular) than I remember 29 years ago. Would I go back? Yes. Supporting real actors and actresses is so important I would certainly go back.

Lovely festival, and it never fails to amaze every year. The show selection is always very good. There is a good mix of well known performers and younger, but still good performers. There are options for all ages and interests. The village green is also fun to pay a visit to. Good food selection and lots of interesting little shops selling craft items, clothes and many great things.

Scifest running at this moment - from 6th - 12th March 2019.Lots of activities. School going children are learning and having great fun at the same time. Most historically disadvantaged children are granted the opportunity to access resources that they do not have access to at school.Such a a noble event. Brilliant!

Fantastic! The Arts festival is noted for display of cultural heritage. It gets better every year. Scifest is ongoing now. It is an annual festival to showcase science to kids in primary and high school. It's indeed a learning ground even for their teachers.

11 Days of Amazing. This festival has something for everyone. Dance, Drama, Music, Comedy, Family Theatre and features the best jazz festival in the country.

Even Covid19 couldn’t ruin it. Although in 2022, it was slightly smaller than before, I’m sure it will return in all its glory in 2023.

The festival shows are great so far but the town itself needs a revamp. So many potholes and faded road markings and street signs. Also a lot rubbish strewn along the sides. Not a good way to welcome visitors and to encourage them to return.

After a 2 year absence, this is a welcome and very happy turn of events to see the National Arts Festival held here in its proper home. The event was well planned and very nicely attended. All praise to the organizers, it seems to have bounced back even better than before.Expect excellent live performance art, great food, the finest crafts from around South Africa, and a wonderful festive atmosphere.Safe, clean and beautiful old buildings and architecture in this historically significant area, the National Arts Festival is well worth the time and effort.
