Thankyou Hilde for being the perfect hostess. Warm welcome. Wonderful stay. We relaxed like never before. Peace & quiet - very rare to still find hidden gems such as this! Neat & tidy spacious accommodation with 2 bathrooms!! Could not have asked for a better place to spend Easter Weekend. We LOVED every minute. A MUST visit. Breathtaking views. Far from any noise. Warm, homely and super cosy. We'll visit again ♥️

Had a wonderful stay here, great place to unplug and relax completely, and still a short drive from Joburg. Beautiful views and we were treated to both sunrise and sun sets

I've rated this 4 star because of the peaceful getaway - and getting what we expected - a break from the hustle of the city. The road is very rough, so take a high car, preferably an SUV or 4x4. Hilda is very helpful and goes out of her way to accommodate your needs. There were several cute dogs, and so well behaved, they never came to our cabin at all. The scenery is beautiful and there's views for miles. The log cabin was our choice - and very secluded, but not an ideal place for children though. And they seem to be equipped for power outages as we had lights when it happened while we were there.

The serenity and tranquility are unbelievable, and Hilde our host, understood our need for peace and quiet. The timber cottage is neat, compact yet spacious.You can hear yourself think. The air is fresh, the nights silent and the surroundings soul-refreshing.Perfect getaway to rejuvenate and replenish your batteries.Will be going back definitely!!The pictures below are the view from the cottage and an exotic flower we might never see again.

We're here at the moment (16 Aug 2016) and it is a peace of haven, absolutely no sound/noise whatsoever. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of city life, get your butt over here! Neat wooden cottage with all the amenities you need, clean and really friendly hostess Hilde.
